It can be made if mayweather will agree to a 50-50 deal. Pacquaio has already said he will fight Mayweather if the purse is 50-50. The question now, is Mayweather willing to take that proposal and have this mega fight materialized?

I would be happy if they just did 50/50 and got it on because I want to see the fight, but Floyd is the bigger financial draw and may want more.

Would you blame Floyd then if the fight does not happen because he thinks he deserve a better purse than an equal share with Pac?

You go too much into meaningless details, dude. Stop looking for excuses.
It is a fact Floyd has not fought an elite welterweight and that he has been a weltweight for a long time. He has not fought Margarito, cotto, Clottey, Williams., Mosley..in fact he has continously ducked tough opposition. One has to come to the conclusion that this Floyd's fault. Stop looking for excuses and blame Arum or purse demands.STOP LOOKING FOR EXCUSES.

Mosley will fight another tough opponent in Berto. Are they looking for excuses.Pac is fighting a tough wlterweight in Cotto. Is he looking for excuses.

There are no excuses. Pacquiao refused to fight ricky Hatton unless he got the larger purse. Since Mayweather is a bigger financial draw, he has earned the right to command a larger purse. Again the last couple of pages of this thread are full of points, and numbers that illustrate. Anyone who refutes that is simply a Mayweather hater who cares nothing for common sense and sound logic.

Pac is pound for pound number one and has taken on the tougher opposition during the last years. I disagree, they should split the purse and get it on, both are big stars.

If Mayweather doesn't injure his rib postponing his July 18th fight with Marquez. He probably would be fighting Pacman by this time instead of Cotto. That is unless Arum strictly wanted Cotto and Pacman to fight so they could keep the money in there circle as PBF has stated.

Thinking about it. You add Arums percentage for both fighters in this fight, that man is getting paid.

He DOES deserve a better purse. He's the bigger financial draw. We'll see how it all plays out.
