It's funny how there are no threads about Dawson/Johnson

Yeah, I do. But I have to tell you, I'm really looking forward to it. I just got to see their first fight for the first time on youtube last night and I thought it was a great fight.

Haye-Valuev doesn't help but even if there wasn't a big HW fight on the same night I don't think there'd be a hell of a lot of interest for one.

Yeah it was pretty exciting. I hope to be pleasantly surprised this time around as well.

Ok, yeah I thought about it after I wrote it, but even still, he's got to be the poorest draw among "marquee" fighters.

Let me put it this way: Chad Dawson might be a better force to break demonstrations that the entire NYPD or the National Guard, but that says little of this fight. The 1st one was damn good and I expect an exciting battle this time around as well, my only problem is it's a rematch a bit too late, I don't think Johnson has enough left to perform on the same level - a winning performance on my card - but you'd never know, it's boxing.

GO JOHNSON! KNOCK HIM OUT!!! :happy

He'd struggle to fill a marquee to be fair. How have ticket sales been for this one, is in Dawson's hometown I believe?

If the old guys are the best guys, that's the way it is. But I'd really, really like to see Dawson/Cloud.

honestly, Dawson's one of my fav. fighters but i just keep forgetting about this fight, too excited for all the other fights right now......with Haye-Valuev in a few hours and Pac-Cotto around the corner, this one just doesn't stand out that much

i still think it will be a great fight though...

    whoop his old ass Chad...
