Dawson doesn't belong in anyones P4P Top Ten.

 

I'm for Dawson, I want him to fight B-Hop. Hopkins promised he wants to fight the winner of Dawson-Johnson. If he doesn't want to fight Adamek, let somebody to beat the crap of his ass. For me Dawson can do it, I don't see Johnson doing it tbh. Hope it will ever happen.

 

I`d like to see that fight too! I know there is not much for him to do in LHW right now, the best fights for him are all busy in the super-6.. so i hope to see him vs Cloud and probably Bute in 2010

 

I would not count on Hopkins to keep that promise.. But lets wait and see:good

He stunk it up twice against Tarver.

Best thing that could happen for boxing tonight - Johnson KO's Dawson.

Bonus prediction: After the fight, HBO dumps Dawson after his two fight deal for being too boring!!

 

Its a garbage fight, thats why. Just like Tarver's rematch. Just because Dawson struggled against this guy doesnt mean the rematch will be any different. Johnson is 40 years old and was never that good to begin with. In his third fight with Clinton Woods he lost clearly and that should give you some perspective on this guy. Sure he is tough and will cause Dawson some trouble again but at the end of the day Dawson will again outpoint him. He even says in the interwiev that he is not planning KO just a points decision. I hope Dawson wakes up and starts to fight meaningful fights because he is in his best years and very talented. He could really become one of the best p4p if not the best but needs meaninful fights to prove it.

 

Dawson is becoming a waste of time.

 

Lack of interest prob stem's from the perception that most peep's tend to think Dawson should steamroll Johnson this time around. How many times can "The road warrior" defy age.

When Dawson beat Adamek, not only did he lose the belt, but boxing lost a very good light heavyweight champion.

Dawson is fighting these dumb rematches that nobody wants to see cept the hardcore Dawson fans, but even if that, this guy dont have much hardcore fans anyways.

The kid cant even speak correctly, and he never even promotes himself or anything in the post fight interview. Hes just "meh"...."I just won i want to thank god etc.." Whoever this guys manager is, he needs to get rid of him ASAP.

The guy is just plain boring and uninteresting.

Sure hes a good boxer but what is that when you don't promote yourself out to the public, and especially in such a famous division like Light Heavyweight.

And his title defences aren't really that great either.

Tomek at least defended it in fighters backyards and gave a DESERVED REMATCH to Paul Briggs.

There was absolutely no reason for Dawson - Tarver II and even Dawson - Johnson II either when you look at it. And who the **** is Jesus Ruiz and Epifano Mendoza?

I'm pumped for this rematch. So glad it's happening. Hopefully Glen didn't get old overnight.

I agreed with the decision the last time and think Dawson will win with more to spare this time but I still might wait up for it.
