Just want to see what we all have to say about this one.

Current IBF Light Heavyweight champion Tavoris Cloud:

    5'10
    20-0 with 18 knockouts

Former WBC & IBF Light Heavyweight champion Chad Dawson:

    6'1
    28-0 with 17 knockouts

I say Dawson is the better fighter with the far better experience but Cloud has a better chin, a far better punch and is also quick. I think either Cloud by knockout or Dawson by Decision, you guys? They're both 27, by the way.

Dawson wide UD....he's the better overall fighter, thats pretty much what it comes down to

Cloud would have a chance in the late rounds when Dawson starts to cruise, but....thats about it

    I'd take Dawson,

He isn't as durable as Woods, but has a better defence - Cloud is basically a slugger.

I'm surprised somebody picked Dawson by knockout, honestly.

Dawson ain't a defensive master himself.

But yeah I'd go with Chad too.

its a toss-up for me, dawson is a very fast, very slick southpaw counter puncher, where cloud is just a bull. i can see either fighter winning on points, but if any of the two should get knocked out more than likely it would be dawson. it would be a helluva fight though.

Dawson would box his ears off, Cloud may have a good workrate and good stamina, but he's so open to counters.

C'mon, a slugger with no defense. Watch the fight against the dead man walking Woods.

I thought he showed pretty good defense and a very good offensive output nad variety with Woods.

If anything he looked more of a ''slugger'' with Gonzalez. With Woods he was very good both defensively nad offensively.

clinton woods is a tough fight for anyone, he has a granite chin and was only stopped once in his career, and that was from a prime RJJ. but i dont know where your trying to get at, tavoris cloud completely out classed and over powered clinton woods throughout the fight. woods had his little moments, but he didn't even make cloud flinch. and the whole slugging bit i didn't see either. he threw perfectly timed, short precise punches to woods' head and body, hardly reminiscent of looping hooks thrown from a jeff lacy type. i just dont see this c-level slugger you speak of through clouds performances.
