What was the story behind him and Naseem Hamed when they had an argument in Alantic City it went something like this.

Naseem Hamed: "You Colin are one of the worst journalists I've ever known, your opinion don't mean nothing"

Colin Hart: "Well its obviousively got you"

Naseem Hamed: "Yeah because you been writing about me, if I wrote about you I don't think you like it, and let me tell you something Colin and mean this from my heart, I don't like you Colin your a fool"

what did Colin Hart write about Naz.

That was hilarious viewing that night, safe to say Sky won't be asking him back anytime soon.

Oh the irony of Naz calling somebody else a fool.

haha I remember that too, that was classic.

No I don't like him. My reason is that he seems obnoxious and thinks he knows everything. When Khan was KAYO'ed by Prescott, this fool basically went on a "I TOLD YOU SO!" rant. He proceeded to bore everyone to death about how he had always said that Khan had a suspect chin and that he was proved right, how it was a stupid bit of matchmaking, how the tactics were stupid etc.

The problem I had with this was: Colin wasn't the only ****in person who had talked about Khan's chin! ANYONE who had seen his previous fights could tell you he had a problems. Yet Colin was acting like he was the only man in the world who had spotted this, and now everyone should bow to him as the best boxing expert in the world. He sounded like a broken record.

Secondly, **** happens in boxing. When you got a crap chin, one punch from anybody could knock you out, so don't act like Prescott was some bad mother****er who Khan should've stayed away from at all costs. Hindsight is great.

Thirdly, he was all negative, basically said that Khan had a cat in hells chance of coming back from that. I bet now that he's champion Colin will say "I told you so!! I predicted it all along".

Biggest reason=He writes for the sun, nuff said.

Good points=he speaks his mind without worrying about what the right thing to say is.

So Overall: If he tones down his "I TOLD YOU SO" rants, gets a better haircut, starts writing for a better paper, then I'll actually like him

Can't remember. Didn't Naz apologise a few days later though?

    Re: the dispute with Naz

It all started at the end of 1998 - a time when Naz's behaviour became more and more strange, spelling the end of his time with Brendan Ingle also.

    From Johnny Nelson's book.....

''As promised, I flew to Atlantic City two days before the fight, although I was a bit apprehensive because Clifton Mitchell had phoned me from the airport on the way out, and said ''You will never believe what has happened. When we got on the coach, there was a letter on each seat telling us what we could and couldn't do''. Not a happy trip.

When I changed planes at Newark, I saw an article in the New York Post about ''Hamed and his bloodsucking entourage'' and when I met up with Clifton he was seething because he and the lads had been caught up in a dispute between Naz and The Sun's boxing correspondent Colin Hart.

''We were standing along one wall during the press conference with the brothers behind us'' he explained. ''When Colin Hart asked a question, Naz would call him Colin Fart. Then his brothers joined in, ''Colin Fart's a wanker''. The local press thought it was us, but it was them little shits''

Didn't Collin Hart have it in for Lewis as well? I dimly recall something about this.

His views of Lewis victories always went along the lines of "..he won, but he should have won and he could have made it easier..."

I don't like the chap. He is very overrated as a pundit and has been horrible when working for Sky in the past.

At least Naz made him cry. :|

He didn't have it in for Lewis at all - but Lennox had it in for him.

He said that Lewis would never be as popular as Frank Bruno, but he would be more successful.

Well...... pretty much fact to me. You only have to watch the intro's to Bruno vs Lewis for proof of that, the Brits only really took to Lennox after the first Holyfield fight.
