I have'nt seen the fight, nor really care too, but if indeed Valuev did get robbed, so what?.....its the order of the day in a sport thats historically corrupt.....

.....as for Valuev, he's been the benificiary of several dishonest decisions that have gone his way.....so if he got robbed today, who gives a ****!

yes because a 6'3 220 lb fight is suppose to fight a 7'2 320 lb fighter head on without using any defense. stick to defending the klitschkos in the classic section bro.

HAha didn`t see the fight was listening on radio but Haye won it on German soil so he must of made it a good enough point scorer.Get over it Butler

I don't see how anyone can feel sorry for Valuev. The guy has no skills whatsoever and his fights are always dull. Even a normally exciting fighter like Haye couldn't make anything of it. Give Haye a break on that count. Giving up that much height/weight/reach what could he realistically have done? Haye played a smart fight but if Valuev had an iota of boxing talent he would have been able to land punches with that reach advantage. He couldn't and he deserved to lose.

Also, Haye deserved the decision for putting Valuev in real trouble in the last round. In a fight of so little action that has to count strongly as opposed to all the rounds where barely anything happened.

Ultimately Valuev is bad for boxing - how many people who haven't watched a fight in ages saw that stinker and won't watch another in a long while? Good riddance to him.

You don't win a fight by running, period. Valuev won this fight.

The only round Haye won clearly was the 12th, and he won maybe 2-3 others. You don't win fights by running around and flicking out punches, not engaging much. Valuev made the fight.

That said, it was an awful fight that was somewhat difficult to score, because BOTH fighters did so little. But Valuev won. Haye did not TAKE that title.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haye was brilliant. Defensively there has been no better a performance above welterweight bar Toney, jones, Lewis and Hopkins - true legends - for the past 10 or 15 years. You might make an argument for Wlad. But no one else.

for a purely offensive fighter, haye was beyond belief. My favourite fighter I admit, but he's been my favourite fighter for years for a reason: the man is brilliant.

Of active fighters I only admire BHop, PBF and Toney more. Thank god I've got a Brit who I honestly can shout about as being in a similar class. First since Lewis.

No way I can correlate Haye winning 116-112 based on the fight I saw. Valuev was the aggressor and was continually peppering Hayes face with his left jab. This fight was made close as very little happened. It was pretty much a borefest like all of Valuev's fights. Haye did very little work but credit were it is due he is the only man to stun the giant.

Here's my take on it: the WBA see the publicity Haye can generate and the fact that he has the potential to be in mega fights. 3% sanctioning fees and a high profile for the WBA HW belt is more desireable than a freak that isn't a great fighter who nobody really wants to watch. Haye got handed a decision here. If Froch got the nod against Dirrell because he was the aggressor and a belt must be clearly won from a champion how did Haye win the fight? I tell you how Haye won it: politics and money the cornerstones of pro boxing.

You think you win fights by swiping at thin air and being made to look clumsy for 12 rounds :patsch

Don't tell me, you picked Valuev to "KO the china chin" did you? :nut

Actually no. I picked Haye to win by decision.

But don't worry. Either Klitschko will DESTROY him. He fought scared tonight, and against a mediocre opponent too. And he lost. Didn't take that title from the champ, he ran around like he was afraid of getting starched. And for good reason.

Well I see the gf window licking brigrade is out in full force tonight.
I do agree though that Haye would probably get spanked by either Klit.

Yeah, he did. Along with Rico Spadafora and many other goons. They lack credibility not because they are always wrong but because they can never man up afterwards.
