The difference is that while Haye fought cautiously (and while injured) against a man who was 1 foot taller and 100 pounds heavier, Wlad fights the same way against opponents who are 1 foot shorter and 100 pounds lighter.

Haye showed incredibly heart tonight fighting while injured. He showed that he's not just a knockout puncher but also a skilled boxer. He also gained valuable experience fighting against a taller opponent. Bring on the Klitschkos!!

That was a good win, don't doubt me.

But Haye is lying about the injury. And let's see Wladimir Klitschko vs. David Haye next, we'll see what happens to him when he faces a skilled fighter.

He has a very live legit chance against Wlad. Vitali would be tougher. I hope he fights Wlad after Ruiz (He will KTFO Ruiz into retirement).

wlad does not fight guys who weight 140 lbs. he is usually taller than his opponents, but he probably only outweighs them about half the time

I don't really believe the broken hand story either but still, he's a good promoter, all the talk of knocking Valuev out was probably never his plan but it made people watch.

You don't buy his broken hand. But maybe he hurt it. Either way, you're speculating.

You hit the nail on the head there. Alot of people i know who are not boxing fans watched this fight. There was not one complaint of the fight being boring because as they saw it, it was the big guy fighting the little fella. People could empathise with Haye's situation thinking, if i was in with a guy that big i wouldnt go toe to toe with the guy. On the other hand if someone the size of Wlad fights that way he is justly criticised because he is bigger and therefore should be the aggressor.

Nobody needs proof this isn't a court of law.

It's just common sense after watching his performance. His tactics didn't change hardly a bit throughout the fight and he didn't favor either hand.

Wlad won every round and KTFO the guy who beat Valuev before Haye did.

The ref rushed in to break them up wayyyy too early.

I hate that. Let the guys fight out of it for ****s sake.

If you state that someone is "lying" about an injury, that's a fairly definitive thing to say. There's empirical evidence in his previous fights that he uses lead rights a lot more than he did tonight, even taking his cautious approach into account.

It's not in his interest to lie about it because he won the fight. He detonated on Valuev quite seriously in the 12th - and right after shook his hand in pain.
