But why is Tua even being mentioned for a championship fight? What has he proven in the last decade? Who has he beaten to deserve this fight? People are seriously romaticizing David Tua, based on performances that date back over 10 years. Anyone can look good over tomato cans which is what Tua has been fighting a lot lately.
Tua wins this fight by KO. A couple of weeks ago I spoke to Eddie Chambers and asked him if he would consider fighting Tua and he made it clear to me that he wouldn't fight him because he's too much of a risk.
I would love to see Tua, after all these years, win a title. It show how politics and connections play such a big part in getting fights...Tua has faced (and beaten) numerous guys (or conquerors of them) who have held world title belts yet only fought for a title once.
