Valuev-Haye was Froch-Dirrell all over again

i knew some brit hater would start this ****, if u cannot see the difference between dirells hug fest and the fight tonight where there wasnt one clinch, then u are an american and a turd

Spot on. The similarities between Dirrell v Froch and Valuev v Haye start and finish with the fact they both involved two men in a boxing ring.

 

Why has bigbone gone from a decent objective poster to someone really disappointing?? Devils advocate?

 

The fights don't look similar to me, not sure where you are coming from. One guy counterpunched the other came forward in both fights..and what? That always happens.

 

Its so simplistic to say that because Haye and Dirrel were on the backfoot the fights were totally the same. There ARE similarities, but also huge differences. Haye almost always remained in range, didnt fall or duck illegally low, he ducked and weaved using head movement. If all fights are scored the same because of whos on the front and back foot boxing would become a very repetitive, predictable sport.

 

No Dirrell counterpunched. Haye ran like a ***** all night.

I believe what Haye did is called "negativity". That word was all the rage a few weeks ago but apparently it's now out of style.

What I see from British fans is bull**** homerism instead of rational fight analysis. Damn shame.

 

Think about it. Its not that complicated and its a scenario that naturally follows on from what you are saying about the 2 fights.

I wasnt scoring but i felt Valuev won hes share of rounds. Haye basically ran, knowing Valuev would have a hard time playing catch up...
