Damage control...he won you ****ing idiot, and if the Klit sisters want his belt then they are going to have to pay significantly more than slave wages:deal
I couldn't care less that Haye won. To be honest.. I had said before that I hoped Haye would win so it would make a fight against Wlad much bigger... and much more exciting... and legit. Haye getting a controversial decision victory doesn't bother me at all. Him running his mouth for a year about how exciting he is, how he was gonna knock all these bums out... and how boring Wlad is... then coming out with a performance like that after backing out of fights with both Klitschkos? Now that is funny.
Yes but Iggy was a tiny, tiny man compared to Valuev. I should imagine Haye would win every round against Iggy while only bothering to throw a maximum of 3 punches a round.
Fair enough, but Wlad's fight against Iggy was every bit as bad. Hayes not known for being a boring fighter, Wlad is.
You just lost all credibility if you ever had any by saying 'ran worse than mayweather'. This was Hayes first real fight at HW ill give him the benefit of the doubt that his hand was broken so couldnt unleash his right hand. Its a good start to his heavyweight campaign though.
How terrible, that he was only offered a multi million dollar payday. I cant imagine how insulting it must have been to make less than 10 million.
Oh Yeah... that WBA belt means a lot right now. Valuev already lost it in the ring to Chagaev... who Wlad already beat. Then Valuev won a string of controversial decisions... was handed the belt back for nothing... and then lost it in a controversial decision in one of the most boring fights of our generation.... WOW.... the excitement crawling around that title is tremendous! Hell, look... right out of the gate we get to see Ruiz get another crack at it!:rofl
You can't be exciting in every ****ing fight you have. Granted, Haye has been talking himself up this ages, but it's not as if that's against the law or anything!! Plenty of fighters talk smack. Haye fought a smart fight against a far bigger opponent. Wlad fights conservatively against fighters who are far smaller than him, when he doesn't have to. Eitherway, when Haye does the business against Ruiz, he'll be in line for a far better deal from the Kiltchko's.
You really have got the irony bug tonight. The Klits have had more pull outs than a catholic nympho:deal
Not to mention wlad normally dominates his opponents with a massive height, weight and reach advantage. Haye is entitled to fight safety first with a guy as big as valuev.
Haye fought a massive giant. It's tough to look good against a 7'2 fighter, even if it is this Valuev clown. Plus, Haye's hand was broken, and he fought on and he didn't quit.
SO Haye fans, tell me his incredibly strategy that will beat the Klitschko brothers. Tell me an actual strategy, not 'Vitali gets old overnight" or "Wlad has a glass jaw". Something that actually involves a fight plan.
No, it wasn't. Not even close. The difference is that Wlad was dominating every single round against an undefeated fighter who was refusing to fight him back and playing defense. Haye on the other hand... was on the verge of losing the fight... probably should have lost a decision but who cares.... had Valuev bringing the fight right to him all night long... and Haye chose to run for his life, and it was HAYE who refused to fight. Let alone the fact that Haye didn't even come close to having a dominating performance, or outboxing Valuev in an impressive manner while running... he just ran, pot shot... ran... it was awful man.
