10 years ago you're exactly right, however these days anyone with a jab can beat David Tua. Even journeymen can out-jab the slow, fat, plodding semi-retired 35 year old Tua. Haye can box well enough to beat him at this stage.
Exactly! Haye was thrown around the ring and knocked down by guys who were restricted to a 198lb limit - once he faces real fighters at around 230lb he won't stand a chance. Funniest thing was David Haye bragging about beating Monte Barrett, claiming Barrett is one of the greatest heavyweights around today!

prime tua was a bonafide puncher, but even in his prime he couldn't beat boxers with movement or jabs like byrd or lewis. haye should win this one haven't seen tua have a significant fight since his rematch with rahman
That might be the Tua that fought Ibeabuchi, but that is not the Tua that fights like a bum now. These days Haye would easily out box him.

the only fighters that gave tua trouble were tall boxer-type fighters. Hell lewis was taking pot shots at his head and still couldn't get him outta there. David haye is a small heavyweight, who can box, but will be exposed by the tuaman as soon as he lands something. it will be lights out and all over when that happens. this fight would end in the early rounds, with a barrage of tua punches that david haye simply will not be able to live with.
i don't know how people could say that haye would stop him. tua's never been stopped. he would beat haye like a drum. no contest. haye would be left wondering why he left the cruiserweight division.
