I just realized I missed Shields-Miller during this! :rant

How has it come to this? Lamenting the chance to see an MMA fight over a boxing TITLE FIGHT. :-(

 

Dawson is fighting in spurts now, he needs to throw more. The HBO commentators are a bunch of clowns.

 

glenn johnson is reminding me of juan urango tonight....johnson when he does come in just throws looping shots...

 

Johnson starting to get more aggresive this round, forcing Dawson to engage him.

 

Best action of the fight so far in the 9th, though Dawson still in control.

Dawson literally holding Johnson at arm's length with his jab. Johnson still workmanlike, but specifically a pensioner type of workman - one foot out the door and Medicare papers in hand. Halfway through the round an EIGHT punch combination mixed high and low from Chad. About four punches land. Most exciting moment in rounds. Johnson's 1-2 looks really sad now. It isn't even coming close to target. Dawson falls in and shoeshines without taking a single flush counter. Repeats the pattern before the bell.

Well, looks like Dawson's won either way.

 

Yes he does. Smart move by Dawson.... waiting a couple of years for the rematch until Johnson gets old and then he can dominate.

The fact that I'm even bothering to post during this fight tells you how boring this is... I NEVER post in the middle of a fight becuse I'm usually too into the action. I don't have that problem here. :tired
