i just said that donaire has better chance to be pac's successor to the p4p thrown than dawson.

and i have this showing by dawson to prove it!

 

Nobody except you really seems interesting in randomly comparing Donaire to Dawson.

 

Dawson proving he is elite, but very boring.

I scored this one 11 rounds to 1 for Dawson.

This fight won't win him many new fans. That said, he is still the best fighter from 160-175 right now.

Man this guy dawson is so ****ing disappointing :-(

When he outclassed adamek i thought wow, this guy is the future, i bet he will rule the lhw division for years without rivals :hey

its been 3 years.... and hes only really beaten 2 past their prime (albeit good) fighters. Although most of his fights are one sided... they are pretty boring.
Top lhw? nah thats hops....

What can i say about his ability? Amazing, speed,skills,footwork.... His power is ok and i think hes dosent like to get hit, but his defense rounds him out as a good balanced fighter.......

What can i say about his competition? It bores me and he bores me when he fights :-(

but i guess hes a victim of circumstance... All the top fighters of his division are fighters who are past their best days.... After being ruled by roy and daruisz.. the title past hands a few times and ended up with calzaghe... Too bad he didnt fight dawson, that would have been a perfect fight for him. Instead he has to either take exciting high risk low reward fights against the young lions (pascal or cloud) or he can take low risk high payout fights against old fighters.

I like chad but hes career is too nicely managed.... Not enough excitment, not enough risk... Hes been the favorite for every fight since adamek :think

THe way he chooses to fight dosent help either. Whens the last time he faced a BIG puncher btw???

Well, being that he's up 4-0 against Johnson and Tarver (both of whom make it hard to "shine"), there's little chance of any more messing around with either (both should in fact call it a day - Tarver because he's a better commentator than fighter and Johnson because he's clearly all done). :yep

Dawson vs. any of the other top dogs at 175 will be quality entertainment. :good

 

Surely he must have Abe Concepcion over BobPac.

Forch fight with what's-his-name was more interesting then this fail-fast. At least there was a robbery and some excitement at the end. I started looking for the MMA feed halfway through this fight. Damn.

 

I thought Dawson was terrific. Boring, but terrific. No one really looks great against Johnson.

Who does Chad have to go against? I think he and everyone else wants him to fight the winner of Pascal/Diaconu, and hopefully he'll fight the winner of the 168 tournament in a huge fight provided he's still undefeated at that point.

But who's out there for him?
