Strikeforce is slowly growing on me, they have some good fighters now, not to mention they have Fedor. If they can focus on promoting their fighters and get them some name recognition. They will become a serious competitor to UFC.
There is absolutely no way to tell without access to their financial info; they could put on a show ten million times better than the ufc, but if they aren't a sustainable profitable business they will go bust. Anybody with money could theoritically put on a better show than the ufc, that doesn't mean they can compete with them. Strikeforce has a better chance than most because they have smart experienced owners, but they have totally shifted business plans from succesful regional show to going head to head nationally; it is a totally different business.
I agree the music is cheese but they have a nice stable of fighters. UFC is getting stale to me. Competition is good.
They got a lot of good fighters to go along with fedor. The reason affliction didn't do well is because they made it seem like fedor is their only star. Strikeforce has multiple stars such as overeem-lawler-shields-miller-arlovski-henderson? might be coming soon,mousasi etc etc. cung le is back also.

Exactly, they need more big stars so even if one star is gone, they still have plenty to keep their show attractive. They need to promote the brand more.
The way ufc (dana) treat his fighters, i won't be surprise if more of them join strikeforce in the future. Rampage who knows might sign with them. Mousasi vs Rampage would be nice. yea now that fedor is there, they would probably make more promotions. I want to see Fedor vs Overeem soon.
