WTF Now i'm not saying that Haye didn't win as i've only seen around 3/4 highlights but everybody saying that that shot in the 12th 'rocked' Valuev are seriously letting your love for the Brit cloud your judgement. He hardly connected with it. Valuev caught his leg with his foot and was briefly off balance FFS. You lot are talking as if he was ready to die or summat Mental.
no mate, if you on about the 12th he hits him (bit of a scuffed shot) with a left and Valuev definitely does the chicken dance. I'm happy Haye won but a bit disappointed that he never engaged proprly.
I'm made up for Haye. I think he did a fantastic job of boxin g the big guy and making him look awful . Had Haye up by 2 rounds.
The fight may have been boring (not to me), but Haye fought the fight he needed to to win the title. If nothing else it proves: - He can stick to a gameplan - Does not gas after 4 rounds - His power has made the transition to HW. Anyone who wobbles badly a 315Lbs man who has never been hurt before undoubtedly has power
There's some prodigious ****-talking going on in General from the usual suspects, that'll take a while to calm down. Those people can flap their gums all they want though, in fifty years' time no-one will know their comments existed and David Haye will still have become WBA champion of the world in November 2009. And perhaps more to come...?
bit boring but he won,i think if he opened up around the 5th or 6th he could of hurt him bad,but i understand completely why he fought the way he did,he obviously watched the holyfeild fight. well done haye you have made us(most) prouddeal
i hope you dident pay him cash,my twat of a brother in law is a tax inspector, and i can't get away with any cash jobs:think:hey
