Rogers is 5 inches taller and 35lbs heavier. Silva and Griffin are the same size. Rogers landed about 2 of 10 punches on the ground. The busted nose was from training. The scar was fresh.

given the lack of depth in strikeforce's heavyweight division, a rematch is possible.

When did Rogers "hurt" Fedor? If you guys consider getting a cut "hurt" I have overestimated the heart and minds of those posters. I saw Rogers almost ko'ed in the 1st and KO in the 2nd, not once did I see Fedor panic or look hurt.

lol, I knew it was coming. People would jump on Fedors case unless he finishes Rogers like he did Sylvia or Zulu. Imagine if he would've lost, the 9 year streak would be forgotten in one lousy moment. It's sad but his legacy in America will not be established without running UFC for couple of years. Unfortunately he is getting older and I don't see that possible now.

All you hear people say is, oh here's his weakness, on no here's another weakness. Somehow Fedor is riddled with weaknesses but nobody can beat him.

Than if someone ever does beat him we'll have douchebags crawling from under their rock yelling "told you so" dismissing about 15 "I shouldn't've bet against Fedor in this fight"'s.

Rogers is already saying it was a bad stoppage and he wasn't KO'ed and how he would beat Fedor in a rematch. Sounds like people telling him he did better then he really did.

Just rewatched the fight, Rogers landed a jab that cut Fedor open, landed about 3 weak knees to the legs and maybe 2-3 to the body from his "control on the fence", and he landed about 5 strikes among bunch of glazing ones on the ground while in Fedors guard, literally that is all.

Fedor landed huge left hook, 2 takedowns, 3 submissions attempts(armbar, kimura, armtriagle could be considered), **** load of punches from half guard especially after the first take down. I guess they were light so people were quite dismissive.

How the **** did Rogers do so well again?

People blindly get a huge ego boost from surviving 7 or even 3 minutes with facing Fedor before getting KTFO or sub'd. If thats not a complement I don't know what is.

Rematch my ass. It wasn't even a close fight. Rogers cut him with a jab, landed a couple punches - but never had Fedor in danger. The only reason Rogers kept escaping those grappling positions was because they were both so slippery due to Fedor copious amounts of flowing blood.

Lol so now you have to bring up fights that happened many moons ago to justify your fanboy tactics? WE ARE TALKING ABOUT TODAY!!, Fedor has a defeat on his record and so does Silva, but your argument really doesn't hold any weight right now when you look at last two years or so, Silva has been a monster and has arguebly beaten better competition while Fedor has done nothing but fight average talent and run from the UFC, those are the facts :deal .

I said it doesn't happen to the other pound for pound Champ THESE DAYS meaning NOW :patsch, i mean damn you're talking about the Lutter fight that happened in 2007  , and i've already explained that Silva had an excuse for the reason he was mounted, what's Fedor's excuse for getting pounded by a man who's only had ten pro fights?

Cote earned his chance for a title shot, i doubt Silva would have faced him otherwise, Irvin was a solid guy in a weight class SILVA HAD NEVER FOUGHT AT BEFORE, what's Fedor's excuse for fighting that Asian giant with no skills whatsoever? there's no way Fedor has faced better competition than Silva lately no matter how you try and spin it.

Rogers, Arvloski and Sylvia were all rated top 10 by sherdog .:think:think:think.
He was in way to fight the number 2 heavyweight before that was cancelled because of Barnett.
IRVIN A SOLID GUY IN HIS DIVISION????
Irvin is nothing more than a poor gatekeeper

What about Henderson, Griffin (yes the man who beat Shogun and Rampage) and Franklin? i'd say Silva's list is much more impressive.

There won't be a rematchI hope...... Fedor only has a handfull of fights left in his career and I wouldn't want to them to be wasted on a fight that there was a clear winner.

It's not like it was a disputed UD.

Hopefully overreem will make his way back.
