Sorry nuthuggers, but running from and hardly getting cracked by pathetic arm puncher Nicolai Valuev doesn't "prove" that Haye's chin is not gonna turn out to be Grade A CHINA at HW - no how, no way.

Let's see him against guys like the Klitschkos, Tua, Peter, or Arreola before we draw a firm conclusion about his ability to take a punch at HW. Fighting like punching mediocrities like Valuev or Ruiz proves NOTHING!!!

They also fail to realize that Jack Dempsey or Rocky Marciano reincarnated would not have been able to KO Haye with all the running he was doing.

It was a boring disgraceful performance.

Yeah, wasn't it Joe Louis who said "you can run, but you can't hide?"

I would have loved to see what the Brown Bomber would have done with Haye. If Haye survived against somebody like that, the nuthuggers would have a case for asserting his punch resistance isn't as bad as you or I think. Surviving against Valuev?? Come ON - he's a light-hitting arm puncher!!!!

Haye has never been hurt of KO'd. Alright, given the number of flash KD's against him he's obviously not got an iron jaw. But saying he has a "questionable chin" seems like pure conjecture to me.

You have to remember though the same people that are saying Haye has a good Chin now are the same ones that said Khan has a Chin because he beat Kotelnik who has a 30% KO rate.:rofl:patsch

    It is a joke.

How could it NOT be questionable at HW?? He's been knocked to the canvas by SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHTS and CRUISERWEIGHTS (and old ones at that), and been at least buzzed in his Barrett fight (I thought he got KD'd, frankly). Surviving by running against a light-hitting arm puncher hardly validates his punch resistance at HW.

What's the point of the statement?

You might as well say that to everyone who has never been knocked down or out, or tested on the chin, despite them continually winning fights.

Haye's chin wasn't even in the equation for the fight, so what's the point.
You might as well question Haye's painting skills, cos I didn't see any evidence of that either.

It's questionable, but if it was Grade A china he'd already have been KO'd. Ruiz or Valuev could KO him too if it was Grade A china.

The whole point of that term is to mark out the worst possible chins.

There is only one poster on ESB who claims Khan has a chin (Darni187)

Hardly ''all those nuthuggers'' to whom you refer

You are hardly the source of amazing predictions, are you - chincheckers in general?

Khan was put on his ass several times as an amateur, so you simply predict the opponent to win by stoppage every time, and when it happens you start with the wise after the event BS.

Really? Ruiz has never cleanly knocked out anybody above the journeyman level.

Valuev might hit a little harder, but not much. These guys are not true tests of Haye's HW punch resistance.

Ruiz has 3 stoppages this entire DECADE for christ sakes. And two of them were like yesterday where the referee or corner stopped it. Ruiz has not scored a clean KO in over 10 years.
