I don't hate the guy, but there's a "false" atmosphere about that whole "gentleman taxi driver who wouldn't hurt a fly" persona of his. I don't buy it for a second.

Carl "The Conqueror" Frampton. Cool nicknames are easy to think up.

Since my name was Brendan for example, I used to think of "Blockbuster" or "B-Man".

Has to be "The Real" Carl Frampton to clear up any confusion!

Anything but "Celtic Carl", that would be painfully cliche.

    How about:

Carl 'The Cyclone' Frampton. (i.e. McGuigan - his trainer - was the Clones Cyclone etc..)

    The Conqueror is the best.

or maybe "The Phantom" Frampton? but that would only suit if he's elusive.

Actually I have amended my earlier choice:

    Carl 'the irish Cyclone' Frampton

I like Dean Byrnes nickname - Irish Lightning.

Thank **** you boys aren't in charge of managing him with your brutal nicknames  ;)

Now, a question for the elusive Carl Frampton. When can we see you back in action? Early in the New Year I hope. And, next question, how often are you hoping to fight next year? I hope you're looking to get 6 fights minimum under your belt in 2010.
