I told him the other day about the Fedor fight on CBS for FREE and he was like "I think I've heard of him and I will watch it". After the KO I called him and asked what he thought of the fight and he was watching the damn UFC re-runs on spike and did'nt see the LIVE Fedor fightatsch I could have told him how all those fights went. MY friend did the same exact thing!!! I yelled at him for a half hour today :tired. I told him never to watch MMA again if this is the kind of ******ed nonsense he is gonna keep doing.

Its so difficult to talk to these people who have never seen anything other then UFC, because you here **** like oh man I wanna be a UFC fighter rather then MMA fighter and if you mention those 3 letters there like huh ? I remember 2 years ago talking to a group of people at a gym about the UFC one day and I turned the conversation onto the upcoming Henderson-Rampage Jackson fight. Dudes were speachless one guy was like yeah ive never heard of this Henderson guy whats his fighting style ? Then its like oh man **** that Rampage he got lucky vs Liddell.

I remember once, when I was talking to a UFC nutjob in the bar, back in 2005-6 when Arlovski was the dominant champ of UFC. We were discussing who was the best Heavyweight MMA fighter. He of course says Arlovski. And I told him that Fedor is way better. And he was like "I heard of him but no way he is better than Arlovski." He was bragging how Arlovski was destroying all his contenders like they are nobodies (kinda like what Anderson is doing right now). Then I argue that his competition is weaker and Fedor has proven against the elites. And of course I couldn't convince him. He thought I didn't know much about MMA. haha Man I wish I could see his face when Fedor put Arlovski to sleep. haha It goes to show.. those TUF noobs are so blinded, it is a waste of breath trying to argue with them.
You can't argue with them. Dana White says they are smart and they believe it. And lay out $50 for crappy UFC fight cards.
Hell yeah man and its because the UFC does such an amazing job hyping up its fighters. You cant fool the true hardcore fans like myself and the regulars on this forum. However you get those UFC only fans then its quite easy. Zuffa turned Ben Rothwell from a high level gatekeeper to one of the greatest Heavyweights on the planet heading into his fight with Velasquez and now more and more TUF newbs are on the Cain bandwagon. Arlovski's run was impressive in 04-06 but he wasnt exactly fighting elite level fighters but Sylvia,Eilers,Buentello where the UFCs best and of course some morons think MMA doesnt exist outside of the UFC therefore they just consider MMA to be the UFC.
