Nobody stays undefeated outside UFC just as well as inside, somehow everyone fails to mention that. boxingcar, Ive thought that way for a while now, ure absolutely right.
Fedor has well established himself as the best MMA fighter of all time. He might lose eventually - but who cares what the casual fans think? The seasoned fans know the truth.
Anderson Silva hasn't lost in the UFC and unlikely he ever will before retiring......neither has Machida (technically) I'd pick Rogers over anyone in the UFC besides Lesnar....and I would not be surprised if he beat Lesnar....
there is something about watching fedor that instils confidence in me. he isn't fazed by anything. he will continously be in trouble but i seek comfort in the fact he will always find a way to overcome adversity. fedor is as close to a machine as possible and defeat isn't programmed into him.
rogers was the first fight i had seen of fedor and i was very impressed. i thought it was over when rogers started pounding on his head but instead of trying to survive he took advantage and tried for an armbar.
I used to disagree; the Fedor is god crowd was more annoying. Today, with all the absolute ****s who think some never was, never will be who had no right to even be in that fight "exposed" Fedor by making it into the second before getting sparked have totally changed my opinion.
UFC is very American centric, notice how most of their big names only fights mostly American fighters (that includes South America, USA and Canada). I dont know why UFC doesnt want to expose their opponents to international competition.
Because European MMA is still a few years from being on equal footing and Japanese fighters fight in Japan.
Fedor is much more dominant and consistent than Ali was.:yep Ali was given gift decisions and was outright beat.... not Fedor.
Head to head its moot i guess for all intents and purposes. Ali's ability though is unquestionable. Apart from a prime Mike Tyson iv never seen anyone who embodied boxing as much as Ali did. Its all the more impressive when their heavyweights.
Almost certainly in fact...if we were to be elitist. Only two outstanding great heavies in the 100 plus years in the sport are Ali and Tyson. Others come close. Boxing has Ali and Tyson MMA has Fedor.
Tyson looked great but is not on a level with Ali, he is just about a top 5 HW but thats debateable. Ali is number 1.
