Could Angulo-Yorgey be KO of the year?

I thought this fight was EXTREMELY brutal. It is not exactly the type of thing I particularly root for in boxing. I love KO's, no doubt, but I can't think of a single time where I was happy to see somebody seriously hurt. Angulo seemed very genuinely concerned about the safety of his opponent after the fight. Is this KO of the year so far? If not, what is?

It was quite an entertaining fight. Kind of funny not too many threads on it.

I'd still go with Pacquiao-Hatton, but wouldn't complain if Angulo-Yorgey got the nod.

I was in the 6th row, blue corner. It was one of my best friends' first fight night's ever. he's a lifelong angulo fan for now on. that was a demolition. I had a historian sitting next to me the entire night. he literally rattled off obscure boxing facts the entire night, it was cool though. I met marlon starling, he was the star of the night. demetrius andrade came up to me and gave me and my friend hand shakes and we spoke briefly after I called him the next big thing. he was looking dapper as hell for an 8-0 prospect. his girl is pretty regular if I say so myself. also saw ruben patterson for all you basketball fans out there. I yelled out kobe stopper and he proceeded to try and stare me down. I gave up because it was pointless after a while but he can eat a dick. I got a thumbs up and little shimmy from max kellerman which was funny as hell. I saw lederman do his thing, dan rafael typing up a storm, lou dibella walking around greeting everyone like a true businessman. I saw manny steward, he never moves a muscle, it's weird. lampley was all over the place. The undercard was pretty entertaining. michael oleveira, a young propsect from miami, was on it. he doesnt jab enough and he's going to get knocked the **** out eventually. I see him getting exposed really soon. The dude he was fighting pretty much was winning with effective counterpunching aside from some rough spots until he inexplicably quit. I knew sngulo-yorgey would be a good fight but I had no clue yorgey would get blitzed like that. beers were 8 bucks, **** that. I had two anyway. dawson-johnson 2 sucked. you dont know how negative a fighter really is until you actually attend a fight that you paid 125 bucks for. he could've abused glen johnson. you could see the potential in the few, yet spectacular flurries he had.

Amazing fight. Would love to see a rematch in the next year.

Does Yorgey want it though? :think
