I can totally see Ruiz getting the better of him. Because he has a lot of strengths the play to Davids weaknesses. Unfortunently, with his come forward style it could also be a night mare for him. I can see Haye making this look like Frazer-Forman. I can also see Ruiz parrying a shot landing a counter and nighty-night David. In short if David is for real I can see him making this look like Frazer-Forman. Ruiz is a good acid test for him.

meehan is ranked no.2. i'd expect that it would be more entertaining than haye - ruiz. but he won't get a shot. haye would avoid big punchers like kali if he can.

he'll probably fight ruiz in the uk around march, april time.

then i see one of the klitschko fights happening.

just too much money involved for these fights not to happen. :deal

haye has backing now from sky.

i don't see haye just sitting on his title.

he's always chased the big fights his whole career. :bbb

I was going to say Tomasz Adamek, but I remembered John Ruiz has a guaranteed shot at the WBA title. But than again the WBA isn't too strict on mandatories, I hope Adamek pushes for a fight against Haye.

He said he wants to fight Ruiz in March/April in London. That has to and will happen. He has a fracture of a small bone in the hand which will take 8 weeks to recover, shortly after that he will begin training for that fight. I heard an interview with him.

What's next? Hopefully knocking that cheating clubfighter Ruiz out cold.

Haye hurts himself drinking tea, pulls a pinky finger, and it really hurts. So the Ruiz fight is postponed.

Finally, after much **** talk of awesome power and skill, the Ruiz fight happens. Haye runs around for 12 exceedingly boring rounds that make someone want to stab a knife in his own eyes so he can't witness the horror any longer.

After the fight, Haye claims another injury kept him from knocking Ruiz out. Sprained wrist in the second round.

All the English nuthuggers jump on ESB and claim how brave Haye is for fighting another 10 rounds with a limp wrist.
