They can brag to have the best HW They can argue to have the best LHW :think:think:think (Mousasi would beat Shogun:hey:hey:hey) I'm a big fan of UFC and Dana White so..
Definitely have the best heavyweight in the world. Arguably have the best light heavyweight in the world. Once had a genuine threat to the middleweight champion of the world. They are certainly coming on leaps and bounds.
i didn't know that. one good win and maybe he can revitalise the buzz. alot of people really wanted to see him vs silva. they thought his striking could do well. 6-0 (6ko's) always looks good. after smith, he should get right back in there with shields and reclaim his belt.
If he wanted his belt he could have fought Shields in his next fight. shields is a bad matchup for him and he knows it.
I thought it was a good card, but are you and other people going to be buying these ppv's for 40 -45 bucks. coker did this to showcase Fedor but he will have to have a ppv in order to pay the bills in the near future.
If he gets on the ground it is but he is sooooo many levels behind Cung Le in the standup aspect. Honestly id root for Shields because Le gets so much underserved hype IMO his only real credible win was vs a past his prime Frank Shamrock who lets face is fought the wrong gameplan and was doing very well until he had his arm broke on a kick. Nick Diaz totally trashed Shamrock but Diaz gets **** on for his performence which I dont get.
If Strikeforce focus on a good business plan and make profits, then in time they will have a strong lineup of champs. I have the feeling UFC fighters want an option to escape Dana's grip on the sport.
Knew it was to good to be true. :| Here I thought that they were smart for doing what boxing did back in the day and telecast it live for everyone to see. Shiiiit, I don't even buy UFC's PPV's, or any boxing PPV for that matter I just wait for the results and find it online somewhere at a later time. I have more important **** to spend my money on. :yep
That's how it works.. If you like something you have to spend money to support it. If not, they will go out of business. Haven't said that, I still have yet to spend a dime on PPV. I could catch fights at sportbars. :good
I bought one UFC PPV and it was Evans Vs. Griffin and Mir Vs. Nog. That was worth it, but I felt this big pot of guilt at the bottom of my stomach, like that money could have been used elsewhere. I had hardly no income at the time, and still am not much better off so I'm sure that if I was more financially sound, then it would be no problem buying a PPV.
Strikeforce will also be strong at 170 with Zaromskis and Aoki. However St. Pierre is by far the best at that weight.
