Uhhhh, I love 24/7 and I love when classy real boxers are on it. What the hell do you want to see? They show what the guys are going through preparing for the fight. You want to turn this into a docudrama and add some stupid bull**** to hype it generically?
Who cares about the build of the fight? We all know it will be an all out war and has the potential to be FOTY and may'be even Fight of the Decade.
:good too many whiners here, although it be nice if they mention pac trying to make history winning his 7th weight belt
im not all that 'hyped' about the 24/7 either but what do expect from 2 humble fighters that can hardly speak english......? im more pissed off that we're less than 1 week away from fight night and punk ass hbo doesnt have any manny or cotto fights on demand.. *******S!!!! either way this fight needs no hype nor 24/7. this has solid potential for FOTY. manny all the way!
I actually find it interesting that they highlight the men behind the fighters. I like the segments on Joe Santiago, fat man in Cotto's corner, fat man in Pacman's camp, ETC. That Konz guy really pisses me off though.
i actually quite like the 24/7 programs, it gets me all excited and ive watched all 3 now and simply cant wait for fight night. anyone on here lucky enough to be going?
to be honest 24/7 gets a bit dull cause its always the same fighters on it, i think the show needs new blood as theres only so many times they can show mayweather, pacman etc training and it still be interesting
I had no idea that he met his fat friendly only relatively recently. So, he's basically a fan that lucked out and landed a paid position in his favorite fighter's camp. My wife had a really interesting comment about that: "Did they learn nothing from Selena?" Meaning that this could end up badly with "obsessed psycho fan" type drama. Doesn't Cotto have a brother? What I learned from Ep. 3 was that Cotto really prioritizes comfort; so much so, that he hired a fan to "manage" some of his affairs. Ep. 3 didn't give me any new info, other than what the OP said: Pacman doesn't know his namesake's videogame.
