Are any of you very familiar with his career? If anyone is interested, he will be "On the Ropes" today along with Shawn Porter (Pacquiao's sparring partner) and Paulie Malignaggi.
Wasn't, boning up now. http://www.wfaa.com/sharedcontent/dws/spt/misc/where/stories/030404dnspowherenow.9e950.html "Several current and former fighters, from Ken Norton to Fres Oquendo, have worked out at Phillips' gym over the years while passing through town." I smell open-ended question... :good
:good I actually saw that article and was planning on using some of the info from there for questions.
Not sure if you heard it yet, IB, but I thought Sugar Ray was an outstanding guest. I actually wish we had a little more time for him. I will definitely get him back on sometime, as he was quite entertaining.
6-7 is my last hour at work, and the last third-to-half of the show is usually during my commute home. Looking forward to hearing Sugar Ray on the train ride in tomorrow morning! :good
