lol my heart is with cotto my wallet is with pac. from the guy who said cotto is almost shot. i know what you are doing. you want to label cotto as very big underdog so that when he wins, it's like buster beating iron mike.

 

What you're forgeting is that Pac will be at most 150 come fight night while Cotto will come in at 160,and you're complaining about one pound cmon man.

 

I don't see why people are against this catchweight. I think it's only fair, Cotto is the bigger guy, this just evens it out. Cotto himself said that he was in great shape,
if he loses it won't be because of the weight.

 

What's bad about catchweights when the two fighters agree to it. Come on, it is as if catchweights happen only on Pac's fights. It's as old as the sport itself.

 

Manny didn't reak rules. I didn't say that. He asked, nothing wrong with asking. It's not his fault they are giving everything he wants. But the fact is still the same. If it wasn't because of HBO money and power Cotto wouldn't agree to 145lbs. Why?? Because he didn't have to!!! The only reason here is BIG PAY DAY!! Who pays???? HBO!!! Come on!!! That said, I say again, I don't think Cotto will have any problem making 145lbs. I, one more time, see this as a 50/50 fight. I don't think Manny is that small. He went up in weight the right way. Just like when Evander Holyfield when up to heavyweight. He did it by putting up some muscle mass. Not like Oscar and Tito, they went up in weight by keeping some fat. And they paid the price. The element that will decide this fight is Cotto's training. Which I have been saying since before the MArgarito fight its very suspicious. I don't think Cotto trains as hard as he should. Not making excuses for him. That his business and he is getting a lot of money. If he losses he can retire and enjoy his life.

 

145 was not proposed by HBO, it was proposed by Cotto himself. :deal

 

pacquiao was already considered an ATG by many even before he asked cotto for a catchweight fight. and besides, he doesn't need to fight cotto. he could have went straight for floyd by waiting.

 

What fights of Cotto have you seen?

Cotto can fight going backwards very well,even in the Margo fight he did it for the first six rounds and was doing great his only problem was when he stayed on the ropes .
