Rahman and Johnson wanted a small fortune to come to the UK to fight Haye, hence why they plumped for the realistic Monte Barrett. The Klit fight was called off due to an injury..... "That's Boxing"

I watched the chagaev fight and any good heavyweight with confidence would have knocked him out long before the 9th. The guy was a sitting duck due much to wlads long tentacle paw/jb.
Wlad sold 60,000 mainly due to Haye. Whether you admit to it or not Hayes trash talking/t-shirts etc brought a huge attraction to the fight. Since when have people queued to get tickets to a previous Wlad fight??
People will have already booked hotels etc so why get a refund when you can go to the fight/enjoy a weekend there.

THAT IS MY POINT????? I'm saying Haye blasted Wlad for fighting his mandatories thompson and at Povetkin before he was injured, but now he is doing exactly that. The man is a walking talking contradiction.

See Gerald Mclellan...Apparently only paid $100,000 by don king and now cannot even afford to pay for his care without support!
So haye walks in there getting paid peanuts, gets very badly hurt to the extent his wife has to care for him. Whos going to feel sorry for him then..you will all say "He should have pulled out if he wasnt getting paid" etc.
He fought mormeck in france(king promoted), maccarinelli(warren promoted)..the only people hes had trouble with are K2 promotions.

It seems that almost every boxing fan has fallen under Haye's spell.

As Oscar Wilde once said, "There is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about."

If you sign a contract staing you have to fight your mandatory/the guy who stepped aside for you then thats what you have to do!
Its called breach of contract if you dont.

Someone who can fight would be a start. Valuev was garbage to anyone who had ever seen him, way before the Haye fight. Please don't tell me this was an amazing win. Yes, Valuev is huge, but that's basically it. My point is Haye slagged of everyone Wlad fought and then make out this win was some amazing feat. Wlad fought a lot of hungry and undefeated challengers.

Haye is the WBA Heavyweight Champion of the World and about to make a lot of people an obscene amount of money including himself.
You're just scared that this will overshadow the klits and it will.
    Get over it

yeah, i know, but Haye was making out Wlad was an idiot and said 'knock those two bums on the head and fight me'....

AND PEOPLE AGREED AND THOUGHT THIS WAS AMAZING AND HAYE WAS REALLY COOL?!?!?!

Haye, dump your belt and fight Adamek, he's just stepped up...?!

    Really?
Do you know how many tickets were returned when Haye backed out?

108.....108 thats it. While I admit Haye helped sell it was NOT the main reason.... Wlad usually sells out in HOURS in germany in the smaller arens

So fighting a guy twice your size with the possability of knocking you out is not a challenge?!
Wlad gets slagged off because for a man his size he fights scared and takes no risks! The guys he has been fighting are much smaller than him, heck ibragimov couldnt get near him but yet it went 12 rounds.
Haye is hypeing himself p for future fights, The fact that many on here said he would get knocked out confirms that it was a risky fight for a man his size!

people said he would get knocked out because haye himself said how he would come out throwing bombs from the bell, and would be like tyson bobbing and weaving and would come forward relentlessly.

This strategy + haye's chin = ko for valuev, even with his lumbering arm punches.

I agree Wlad isn't massively aggressive, but he was most of his career and he got nailed. When you're champ, and you want to stay that way, maybe you do become less aggressive and you focus on winning? Maybe Haye will find that out....

    Yes much smaller venues!
MSG against ibragimov was what his previous largest audience? 15-20,000.
Haye helped sell a great deal of that whether you will admit taht or not.
German fans treat boxing like a night out at the theatre, there not going to get a refund for a planned night out.
