Seeing as Mitchell is fighting Prescott for a title eliminator, and its next month, most likely on the Khan-Salita undercard, do u guys think this is setting up for a Khan v Prescott rematch?

As Salita is Khans mandatory i think im right in saying Khan will the have a voluntary defence after Salita should he win, so If Prescott and Khan both win, it seems pretty likely Khan will offer Prescott a title shot as a voluntary defence. Otherwise whats the point in a Prescott Mitchell title eliminator?

If this is indeed the case i think Prescott will knock out mitchell but get outboxed to a wide UD against Khan second time round.
    What do u guys think

Prescott beats Amir Khan every time he fights him if you ask me, too much power for Khan its that simple.

Erm, do you really think he is putting Mitchell in the ring with Prescott just for him to lose, keeping in mind that Mitchell is one of his star attractions? He has got him a fight with Prescott because he is a name and imagine the reaction if Mitchell were to beat him (from casual fans), "wow he is much better than Khan!" etc.

Plus, ironically Khan has bigger fish to fry now. I could only see the fight possibly happening if Prescott were to win and Khan was to lose.

Edit: Also the point in Mitchell fighting Prescott in a title eliminator is pretty obvious isn't it? ;)

Whilst I used to like Khan, he has been getting on my nerves recently with his incessant whinging. I'm starting to wish a huge KO would befall him.

For all of warren's talk i really don't think we're likely to ever see mitchell prescott. Kevin is fighting ricky burns in december on the salita undercard. Kev is #1 at superfeather with the wbo and burns is #2. This will therefore presumably act as a final eliminator for martinez.

    Prescott's moved up to 140.

Its actually Mitchell who has moved up in weight :p

The fight with Burns has been scrapped and Mitchell's next fight is against Prescott at lightweight.

Khan beating Prescott would shut up all the haters and put him amongst the elite of the boxers around the 140 division. I can not see any fighter beating Khan below 154.

That's a ridiculous statement. Mosley, Pac, PBF, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito would destroy him at 147 and there's big punchers at 140 such as Maidana and Torres who, if they connect with Khans chin, will knock him out.

Mayweather only fights small men or seriously limited guys like Hatton. Pac and Khan will not fight due to Roach and Khan edges him. Mosley is a grand pa who would be destroyed by Khans speed.

Cotto is decent but struggled recently and is on the slide quick. Margarito is a joke fighter who only won because he is a dirty cheat, without cheating he loses to anyone half decent. Maidana and Torres are very average and not in Khans league. Khan will take anyones power now he has moved up in weight.
