Haye; A man of double standards

    yeah of course, but Haye himself says he is a natural heavy. He was fighting people who were really quite average, lets be fair. Wlad's fights were almost always exciting when he was younger. He was WBO champ, and an offensive machine, but barely anyone had heard of him. I don't think Haye is boring. But I can't see what was different about his last fight to some of Wlad's boring ones, can you? The only difference is he's was a technical masterpiece and brilliant planning, where as wlad is a disgrace and is killing boxing? :think

    Wlad doesnt fight smart..he fights scared.
    We could forgive that if he fought somene of valuevs size but not when hes fighting much smaller guys.

    Get a grip.

    come on... a 103 year old Holyfield beat valuev. Please don't tell me that valuev was more of a challenge than say... an undefeated sam peter at the time was to wlad? Wlad would have KO'd valuev.

    what I found most concerning was the delight in Hayes corner round after round broken hand or not they obviously came with the game plan of throwing 15 shots a round and stealing the fight that way ...

    something along the lines of

    "thats it!!! brilliant make him miss over and over again just to show you are controlling this fight"....

    Im sorry but if you make someone miss time and time again on the back foot , running (and you dont fire back) you are just "running"

    Am I only the one baffled by the delight in the corner? confidence in haye? baffled by final bell reaction? then shocked at the result...am I a bad judge of fight? in the paper yesterday they said it was a boxing masterclass...? have i missed something?

    dont get me wrong haye is an awesome talent ....and the better boxer/fighter won the competition....
    i just didnt think he done anywhere near enough to win the title.

    I agree on this point.
    i do feel he should have thown more shots, even pot shotting to the body.
    But then as many have argued he was making valuev miss and the art of boxing is to hit and not get hit.. he may not have hit him that many times but he outlanded valuev big time.

    Haye broke his hand which made him fight more cautiously than normal, Wlad always fights like that

    I guess what really wound me up was when haye went in for the kill and had valuev immediatley wobbled... I just felt a little short changed, especially when you see 46 year old holyfield having a go and only just coming up a little short.

    Im not too sure haye has that much faith in his chin!

    Yea i definetly think he could have kod him had he gone for it like he did the 12th..BUT it looks like he has damaged his right hand in the 2nd round so i suppose pot shotting was his best bet of winning.

    Holyfield i felt did worse than haye..he hardly threw any punches and got hit a lot more which is why valuev underservedly got that decision.

    that is the point. his hand was broken he couldnt land the bombs whch meant the fite wasnt as exciting as it was supposed to have been.. he proved he was a warrior by finishing the fight and almost koing the giant in 12.

    And 1 bomb from haye on wlad bitchkos chin would knock him out cold

    I never never saw Wlad fighting so scard like David Haye against Valuev. Offensive nothing special.

    But the bigger the hype the harder the fall from David Haye.

    Both Klitschkos will knock him out :happy:happy:happy
