he was not willing to engage with Valuev and ran the whole fight as a 'strategy' but he is going to be willing to go toe to toe with the Klitschko's who are better skilled, faster, and punch harder than Valuev? :huh

What kind of logic is that?

I'm already looking forward to the December Glass Jaw Rankings.

Will Haye remain in the top 10?

If he is going to KO the Klitschko's he will at least have to trade with them. If Haye does that he will get knocked out. Brutally. It is all a big farce he will run against the Klitschko's just like he did Valuev.

outboxing valuev is a whole lot easier than trying to fight him on the inside, just ask 50 of his opponents.
going toe to toe with the KLITS is logical as Haye may not have the boxing capability that the klitschkos have, haye has thunderous power that can test wladmir, why try and outbox someone like wladmir when his chin is suspect?

    :deal this.

ofcorse he isnt going to stand toe to toe your quite right and for other people to say well he ran the whole fight, his gameplan was to hit not be hit and KO him late, after he broke his right hand in the 2nd round he had to resort to plan B and toatally outbox him and hope the judges werent going to be corrupt again, brilliant strategy

Its going to be easier to trade with people that are closer to his dimensions. Plus Wladimir is chinny, Vitali not particularly athletic. If they fight i think theres a huge chance of Haye trading with Wladimir, maybe not so much Vitali, and winning both fights.

Sounds like somebody doesn't know what 'literally' actually means. Last I checked Valuev wasn't pushing 19 feet tall and 650 pounds.

    Sounds good in theory, except:

Haye did very little to outbox Valuev. You say he shouldn't have gone inside, alright, but why did he do so little offensively against a guy so hesitant to fight? Haye was nervous against Barrett and timid against Valuev. He may have all the right ideas about how to fight the Klitschkos but does he have the mental strength to excecute a swim - or - sink gameplan once he feels Wlad's jab or realizes how difficult these guys are to hit? I don't think so. Haye wanted the lazy road to success, that's why he has only 24 pro fights at age 29 and there are some attributes that fighters have to develop in the ring. Fighters with much more experience at HW have gone into fights with the Klitschkos only realize that they are better than they expected and had their will broken.

Why? He SHOWED he could trade with Valuev in the 12th, but he didn't. Instead, he ran around for 11 rounds, and threw very few punches. Valuev pressed the action, made the fight and threw more punches. He should have gotten the nod. What has boxing come to where people run around and "win" fights?

Haye can whack punches in from angles Wlad isnt used to and has the skill to avoid being hit. I would still have Wlad as favourate but not a huge one.

    Nuff said... thread over.

If Haye would have landed the shots on Wlad that he landed on Valuev the fight would have been all over in the first 3 rounds

  14. You're just bitter because you predicted a Valuev win. You actually said Valuev was gonna K.O. Haye. You're just upset because it was a shitty prediction and you got exposed. Dry your eyes mate. :|:|:|
