Froch has a superb chin and a heavy hand stylstic nightmare for Abraham i think Froch easily outpoints him

you got that a little bit wrong pal.

i said that AA would have some problem when he faces someone who can box and punch.. i did not mention Carl froch...
personlly i think AA toughest fights is against:Kessler(surprise..),Ward,dirrell... froch could also create an upset..IMO.
Super six is an exiting tounament.

A fighter like Abraham will always be underrated if his style is compared to textbook boxing skills. Vitali Klitschko is another example, everybody has ideas about his weaknesses, yet no opponent ever looked good against him. Abraham is a very EFFECTIVE fighter, which makes him better than many who have a wider arsenal of skills. Ikeke was a 6'4 fighter who could box and punch, he was considered top 10 - 15 p4p. Abraham dominated him. Against Taylor, everybody said Abraham can only win by KO and Taylor was more skilled, but who was more effective after round three? Abraham would have won a comfortable decision without the KO.

Abraham has perfect body mechanics for his guard, he can cover his body and head without moving his arms. That guard makes a jab very ineffective against Abraham and to find openings, a fighter as to be willing to engage Abraham. Froch doesn't have much of a chance and while Dirrell has skills and speed, he will not able to just outbox Abraham from a safe distance, because his punches will only hit gloves, unless he engages more.

i just don't see how froch will avoid getting hit by aa's power shots. no one 160-168 can fight the way froch does against aa and get away with it. i like froch and think he has a huge heart. but a huge heart won't help you if you fight with your hands around your waist and don't move like froch does. whenever aa decides to let his hands go, i can see this getting ugly. at what point in the fight that happens is up to aa.

I think Dirrell will be more trouble. Isn't Abraham slow? How's he going to catch the Runningman?

I think Dirrell has a great chance to beat Abraham. Just terrible styles matchup for him.
However its gonna be even uglier than the Froch fight. As soon as Dirrell feels one of Abrahams punches he will be backing up very very fast or clinching as soon as possible.
The Froch-Abraham fight i can not wait for. I want to see Froch punished bad. I dont think that fight goes past 2 rounds.

Ikeke was considered top 10-15 P4P?!?!?! The same Kinglsey Ikeke who got spanked by Anthony Hanshaw? The same Kingley Ikeke whose best win came against Antwun Echols?

That's the first time I've ever heard that tripe. Maybe top 10-15 at middleweight. But there's some revisionist history if I've ever seen it.

I agree, except on 1 point. I think Abraham DEFINITELY has better power than Froch. I think it's lights out mid rounds.

I just refer to an articel I read before the AA fights about Ikeke with various experts saying AA couldn't win. It isn't my personal opinion. Ikeke lost a UD to Hanshaw, I wouldn't call that being spanked. He lost another decision to Pascal, AA dominated and KO'd him.

What about Taylor, who was supposed to be the better boxer than AA? All I am saying is that AA is effective, so far no style worked against him and he doesn't need a versatile style to win fights because of some unique physical attributes including the body mechanincs for his guard.

Froch's chin is overrated, AA will KO him if they ever fight.

And I don't see how he is stylistic nightmare for AA. Froch is slow, with no footwork or defense. AA can easily pick Froch's shots and then
throw his powershots and easily land them.

Dirrell has a good chance of surviving 12 rounds but he'll still lose.

Find me ANYTHING indicating that Ikeke was deemed to be a pound for pound fighter. Ikeke might have been favored by some entering the fight (although if I remember correctly, Abraham was the betting favorite), but I don't think he's ever been rated top 10 at his weight, much less as a pound for pound fighter.

I know I'm in the minority with my opinion on Abraham-Froch. Great thing about this tournament is that they'll be fighting each other soon, so we'll see who is right. I expect Froch to hand Abraham his first loss, and for everyone to overrate the hell out of Froch after that. Pound for pound, I think Abraham is a better fighter, but I think Kessler and Froch are nightmare style matchups for him, for different reasons.

Dirrells chin is suspect imo thats why he was running, holding and dropping on his arse against Froch, he`ll do the same against Abraham,no doubt.Froch will stand and trade,Froch could knock Abraham out or Abraham knocking him out is possible.Jermain Taylor didn`t look quite as dangerous when Abraham ko`d him than when Froch did, i think Jermain is shot.

You could be right, the more likey scenario imo is that Abraham has no problems to see what Froch is trying. Froch has horrible slow handspeed and Abraham has great defense. This defense isnt that proven against elite fighters, thats a good point. But he looked so rock solid since now, i would be surprised if Froch can crack him. I think AA will smash Froch to pieces.

Froch's defense is too leaky to beat Abraham in my opinion, and despite having a reliable chin, he can be hurt and Abraham's power will do the trick. Dirrell can run out the clock and survive by running, but I don't think he'd make the full 12. I'd take AA to stop him between 8-12.

abraham would punch a crater in froch's face, not to sure about dirrell though. dirrell is just so damn fast and hard to hit, it would be a long night for either fighter. abraham/dirrell is a 50/50 with me.
