What you conveniently overlook is the fact that Valuev doesn't use his size well. Vitali is shorter than Valuev but the way he USES his size with his leaning - back defense makes him very hard to hit. You really think Holyfield and Chagaev would land punches as easisly on Vitali as they landed on Valuev? Both are smaller than Haye, both looked better against Valuev than Haye.

Before a fight with Vitali, there is always the "if he slips the jab" statement. Vitali's jab comes from this weird angle from his waist, little chance for a smaller fighter to slip it by ducking. The Valuev fight will not prepare Haye for a guy who throws 80 punches per round.

Being weight drained effects your punch resistance,so him having weight problems at cruiserweight wont bother him at heavyweight so against Klitschko he may trade shots.I can`t see him running off all night against him.

He BROKE HIS ****ING HAND. Round 2 he breaks his right hand, by far the biggest weapon he has. He still had Valuev all over the show with a left in the 12th. But Valuev is far harder to reach and has a far better chin than Wlad. So against Wlad Haye would hopefully not injure himself and would also know that by far his best chance would be to KO Wlad.

Against Vitali I don't know what his tactics would be but whatever they were I would expect Vitali to KO him.

I think 1 well placed right hand would put wlad to sleep. No need to trade - they have the physical advantages so he shouldnt let them fight on there terms, that would be riddick bowe.

This is the **** I dont get about some of you so called boxing fans...Did you call Vitali's performance "running" when he fought off the backfoot against Arreola?

Why is that when fighters use lateral movement, guys like you call it running? If you fight, I'm curious to see how you fight since you like to call people runner whenever they dont stand toe to toe and trade with a big man!:patsch

So when the sport of boxing has been renamed to " TOE TO TOE"?:huh

Personally I think he'll fight exactly the same way against Vitali....but will go in and try to blow Wlad out because of his chin.

I must say though Rico, you did say you would give Haye credit for beating Valuev...like the way he did it or not, a win is a win!!!

Wlad was knocked down as many times in the fight with Corrie Sanders as Haye's been in his entire career!

Also, recently Mayweather fights against guys smaller than him....not 7 stones heavier and nearly a foot taller.:-(

Haye has the power to KO Wlad easily but I could see the same for Wlad. Vitali would be different story but again did anyone not see that Haye rocked Valuev. Slow that down Haye rocked Value if he landed that shot on Wlad he would be done son that shot that rocked Valuev would have put almost any other current Heavyweight down.

Put Haye in the ring with someone who can crack like Sanders and see what happens. Who is the hardest puncher Haye faced, Barrett probably?

A Sanders punch would take Haye's head off. Haye has never been hit by a true murderous puncher like Wlad has been. Wlad took punches from Sanders, Peter, Rahmann, Chagaev, Brock, McCline, Brewster, Mercer, and Jefferson and never went down for the count. He has been down, but never out. Haye on the other hand has been downed by guys under 200 lbs. It's absolutely stupid to compare their chins.
