dawson v calzaghe lhw who wins???

In 2010, Dawson. In 2008, Calzaghe. But imo Dawson should be chasing Hopkins and fighting Pascal and Cloud.

 

Dawson easily stops calz. Calzaghe got dropped by hopkins who doesn't hit hard and jones who was all speed now the speeds gone he stil gets dropped. Dawson hits harder and is too fast for him. Stoppage round 3.

 

Because Dawson regularly shows devastating power...

Calzaghe's mind is not on it anymore... Dawson would win next year if this happened.

 

Before Calzaghe retired he would win a fairly comfortable decision.

 

Now, I'd take Dawson. In 2007/2008, I'd wager than Calzaghe outworks Dawson to a UD.

 

i used to believe dawson , but , with his lack of power punching , calzaghe's stamina , high work rate and chin the answer is : i don't know.
dawson sure deserves a whole lotta more respect for his resume for his age , but h2h i don't know. but he already surpassed calzaghe's achievements in all of his ended (?) career.

 

Before retirement, Calzaghe wins through workrate + adaptability + speed + stamina + Dawson's spurt fighting which will make Calzaghe look like an aggressor again. And no, Dawson doesn't have devastating power. I bet Hopkins and RJJ got more pop than Dawson does in this stage of their careers.

Now, Calzaghe would probably lose because look at him ffs, he drunk, he partyin with women, he staying up late, he's not fit no more.
