I've been a fan of his since I first saw him against at Zertuche a couple if years ago. I loved his fighting style and attiutude. However, I'm so dissapointed with his recent actions.

Fights have been on, off, on, off, on...I've lost count with the amount if nonsense we've had about his hand.

I thought it was all going well, until he pulled out again. As Williams was told to find another opponent, I assumed Pavlik would be out for even longer, but no. Maybe 2 weeks after Williams agreed to fight Martinez, Pavlik has a fight scheduled. Not even a long time after the proposed date with Williams.

    This is a joke.

I just hope it's Arum being protective rather than Pavlik letting his fans down.

williams camp was told he needed a couple more weeks. williams camp said **** it were fighting on the 5th. i can't say i blame them. at this point williams has to get in the ring and i'm sure they didnt want to risk pav not being ready if they gave him a couple more weeks. but as it turns out, he can go in a couple more weeks.

a lot of people want pav to move up. i don't. i want him to fight williams. if they both take care of business, i'm sure it will happen. i just hope the hand really is ok.

I think if they knew he'd be fit exactly 2 weeks later, they'd have waited. It was all these bull**** excuses and stop/start negotiations which put them off. As soon as Williams had another fight, Pavlik had a fight lined up against a bum. Coincidence? I doubt it.

I'd sue their ass off for breach of contract. Pavlik signed and was scheduled to fight Williams, but he backed out with no medical evidence ("I'm healthy but can't bend the hand") to fight another guy in the same month in a world title fight... Are you serious? With Team Williams and HBO, who signed the contract and started the promotional machine, was left out in the cold, they could demand millions for losses.

Pavlik is a one-hit wonder. No legit title defenses, rotting hand, multiple fight cancellations, BHOP whooping. Hes done. Hes like an artist that had one big hit, then fell off the face of the earth. More exciting fighters out there like Williams anyway, so not a great loss. And besides, the guy simply beat Taylor. Taylor has been KO'd by everyone now so even that accomplishment isn't all too impressive anymore. Heck, Taylor won very questionable decisions over Spinks, BHOP, and Wright. Theres a reason Pavlik didnt want any part of the super 6 tourney. Most of the guys in it would destroy him. And its not cause 168 is too big for him just because BHOP whopped him. Arthur Abraham moved up. Pavlik likes his belt and likes not having to defend it. He can keep it cause nobody really cares about him anymore. The rotting hand saga is getting old even if its true. Just retire then and let someone who is healthy/capable of fighting for the title, fight for it. And...had Taylor landed a couple more punches after he knocked down Pavlik initially in the first fight, we would never of heard of the guy outside of him being KO/TKO'd by Taylor.

once you see his hand you will understand

I think the on off stuff is him just wanting to be back in the ring as soon as possible but apparently the hand keeps getting worse.

by the way if the infection reaches his bone they will likely have to amputate the hand

All you idiots can go pound salt up your asses 'til ya die of thrist.

His hand infection was a huge problem, it keep him out of the ring for almost 10 months & you want him to fight Paul Willaims (who no one else would fight) right off the bat after such a long layoff. The Wiliams fight was cancelled because Kellys rehab on that hand was going slower than expected. That was 3 weeks ago. There was no way KP could get in his scheduled 7 to 8 weeks of training by Dec. 5.

So now his rehab has concluded, he's been given the OK to train, picks up an ez tune up fight for Dec. 19, which is prob the best thing he could have done.

When Pavlik is 110% back to his old form, he'll fight your fearsome Punisher & knock his ass out, too. Thats when I wanna see more of those "**** Pavlik" posts.

I love 'em. Cause I know who's right & who the ass holes are around here.

    :yep
