i hear ya, i agree at first glance it doesnt look good. i can't blame williams for saying **** it were going on the 5th with or without you. i'm sure they didnt want to risk kelly not being ready if they gave him a couple more weeks. paul has to get in the ring too. but, as it turns out, he can go a couple weeks past the dec. 5th date (again i understand it wasnt worth the risk for williams to see if he really would be able to go then). so he finds this guy that can give him some rounds and get the rust off. all this **** w/ the williams fight has over shadowed the fact that he went through a lot health wise.

It must be awesome to be a Pavlik fan.

Instead of watching him fight Paul on HBO, you now get to pay extra to watch him fight a scrub at the local VFW.

Maybe Jack is scared of HBO since his last couple of fight's on their have been massive failures.

I don't know why I bother. One more time. Kelly CHOSE Pdub. Went out of his way, read gave up some of his purse, to make it happen. Mora was the only fight that got canceled. Most people thought that was a good thing. Pdub got postponed from Oct. till Dec. Kelly asked for two more weeks because the hand was behind 'schedule'. Not really much to this if you throw out the crap.

I have no problem Pavlik taking a tune-up after all the issues. But for Chrissakes, he's having a genuine 12 round world title fight in December with a valid contract of fighting Paul Williams... I'm just saying again... don't be surprised if Team Williams sues Team Pavlik for breach of contract and monetary losses in the past months... it's not that Pavlik can't fight the fight he signed to... he's putting the MW championship on the line vs. another guy ignoring a valid contract and leaving Team Williams and HBO out in the cold...

Imagine your company in a situation like this: you make a great deal with another company with guaranteed monetary benefits signed in the contract, then the other company starts to buy time after time after time leaving you and your workers without work, and finally ending up making a deal with a completely different company, despite you having a valid contract with guaranteed money. You have a lawyer sitting in front of you. What do you do?

Prima Donna first lady of the stage....... :nut He is fighting on the date he said he would be ready by because of a physical injury. He asked Williams to accept that date. WTF are you talking about? :patsch Maybe you can give Kelly's Harvard Law School graduate promoter a law lesson. I'm sure he will be amused.

You have had your panties in a bunch about Kelly ever since those siren doughnuts calling to Abraham made him eat his freaking way out of middle weight forever.

There's plenty to it. The guy has a million excuses when it comes to good fighters. There was a million excuses to why the Abraham fight didn't happen, he cancelled the Mora fight, he postponed twice on Williams(say what you want about team Pavlik asking for the fight to be moved to the 19th. They knew damn well Team Williams wouldn't accept another delay after Goosen received documents that Pavlik was medically cleared after the first delay.) He also came up with a new excuse everyday for why he lost to Hopkins and refused to give Nard his props. He has had one of the most dissapointed MW reigns in recent memory. He can turn that around with one good fight, but he deserves to get roasted at this point.

His thesis title was "Yesterday I Was Lying, Today I'm Telling the Truth."

You are talking about (and dare I say, defending) a blatant liar, who's favorite line is admitting he's a blatant liar, AND he's a Harvard Law School graduate... :D It there ANYTHING in the world that is more ****ed up than that combination?

Nice change of subject, but I'd bet on his contract law savvy over yours anytime. :yep
