    :rofl:lol::rofl.

    at least the philippines is still a country.

    are you? the only reason why PR has attained this is its proximity to the US which is an economic powerhouse and hence, spill over effect is always given.

    every country has its heroes.

    but the thing is, Puerto Rico is not officially a country is it.

    people slag on the philippines as a third world country from the confines of the US or its colonies. that is easy for people to do and say.

    but we filipinos have fought for our freedom. against the spanish. against the americans. against the japanese.

    before other people start criticizing the philippines, make sure you have attained what we have attained more than 65 years ago.

    our freedom and sovereignty. :hi:

    plain and simple. Puerto Rico is america's *****.

    this is not to slag on PR because i think they are a fine people.

    but they have surrendered their sovereignty for the comfort and convenience of a kept woman.

    Going back to the topic. I think the Phillipines will be just fine, maybe heartbroken at first, but they will have hope that Pac will come back stronger.

    :lol::lol:.

    where is el matador when you need him. that boricua seem to have been absent from esb for a long time already.

    actually, you guessed wrong. I am a filipino residing in the pearl of the orient seas.

    as el matador would say, we are friends, but for this fight, the gloves are off.

    we can be friends after again.

    again, puerto rico is not a country. :oops:
