Prime Michalczewski would have beaten him worse than Dawson. He would have systematically dismantled Adamek.
I think Darek could close the show, if not, win a comfortable UD after a relatively close first few rounds. Michalczewski is overlooked on these boards because 1) he fought in Germany mostly pre-internet (no videos, stram, crowded forums) and because 2) HBO's hype machine people thought he's some kind of a protected Eurobum who's afraid to fight Jones, the real champ, when it was actually the other way around. Also, 3) people look at his style and say he's nothing special. But Arthur Abraham looks "nothing special" according to many, yet look where he is now. Anyway, the Tiger is too much for Adamek, who was relatively weak at 175 due to weight issues.
This would be a pretty sick fight :yep I'd take DM by stoppage. Adamek was a bit tight at 175 I think - DM had a solid set of whiskers and could punch with both hands.
Dumb question. Most people on here probably haven't even seen one fight of DM. I pick DM by late round TKO with Adamek beeing badly battered.
I guess, that there are no weight limits? If Im right, then Adamek would win without any doubts. If this fight took place at 175, I would rather say DM. This weight-limit didnt suit to Adamek.
DM would outbox Adamek to a UD in L. Heavy. I think Tomek would beat DM tho at Cruiserweight. Tomek is a beast at cruiser.
DM was a light heavyweight. Could he have fought at 215? Pretty questionable. I've assumed that by "prime" DM we're talking about a fight at LHW. If DM fights at 175 and Adamek fights at 200, obviously that changes things a bit. Make it at the old cruiserweight limit, I'd probably still favor DM by a shade.
