He "backed out" of one fight with Wlad..back injury forced him out, was unable to schedule it for another few months and to be fair to wlad he didnt want to wait any longer!
the Vitali fight was talked about..but in the end valuev ended up a better proposition with haye estimated to make 3 times what he would have amde with vitali..mainly due to the reported 900,000 ppv buys in the uk + purse.
Lets not forget vitali had the haye fight ofered to him back in januray but he chose to fight gomez instead..if you want to go down that road!

Barrett is washed up..hes been kod/tkod in his past few fights(cant be arsed checking boxrec).plus he was comign in to the haye fight off of a win if i recall.

Valuev has never been knocked out or in a war so he is still in good condition. Lets be fair hes always fought like the haye fight!

Haye is more experienced, has better speed and more power..KO for haye in my opinon,.

Would be a fun fight to watch. Solis is a much better fighter than Jorge Luis Gonzalez. I don't know if Haye is as good as Bowe.

Haye has one punch power, Solis as a pro is a fat slob who doesn't know how to keep his hands up and doesn't have much power.

I give Haye the edge on overall professional skill and he will beat this guy within 10 rounds ...

I personally think that Arreola should fight Haye ... I would like to see Haye against some of those smaller type HW's ... I think he could do good but they will give him the most trouble.

As far as Haye vs either Klitschko ... I'd give him a better shot against Wlad ... (there's only two people that I think can beat Wlad convincingly and that Haye and Povetkin)

I would also like to see Haye against Chambers ... and against Adamek or Cunningham.

LoL Haye almost knocked him down/out with the headgear. Solis is fat, and this time around would be the one way out of shape. Solis won't beat Haye now.

I also doubt that Haye is that keen on rematching Solis at the pros!

Haye beat the slow Valuev by running as fastly as Sven Ottke did in his prime.
    Boring fight,but brillant tactical plan!
But...........Solis is no Valuev. The Cuban is a versatile boxer who will give hell to Haye.

Solis is gonna have to prove himself as a pro first. That said, a top HW with a good punch should be able to take advantage of Haye's shaky whiskers.

Haye's already avenged a couple of amateur defeats in the pro's, I don't think he'd avoid Solis for that reason.
