David Haye had a highly successful amateur career, winning a silver in the 2001 world championships. As a pro wins the WBA/WBC cruiserweight titles in his 21st fight, unifies the cruserweight title in his very next fight. Then captures the WBA heavyweight title on foreign soil against a goliath in only his 3rd heavyweight fight! Charismatic and dynamic David Haye is the future of heavyweight boxing. A lot of people on this board wish he was wrapped in THEIR national colours. David Haye is Mr Charisma!! Deal with it folks!!

You left out a few more facts about David Haye: He bailed at that last minute from a fight with Wladimir Klitschko on what was first a hand injury, then a back injury, then no injury. He then went on and bailed out of a fight with Vitali Klischko for no reason at all. He then went to Germany and did his impression of Jessie Owens for 12 rounds and was gifted a title that was given to Valuev, but that rightfully belongs to Wladimir Klitschko since he is the man who defeated Chagaev, who was the last man to actually fight Valuev (instead of running from him) and defeat him. Just the facts.

He got 5 times more money by fighting Valuev than creedy Klitchkos. Also without K2 slave cotract.

By the way Vitali backed down fight with both Valuev and Haye.

A fighter usually wants to get paid for a bout. Haye wasn`t going to fight for free. :hi:

This is getting boring now. Here's the only fact that is relevant after the Valuev fight - The geriatric Holyfield did it better :yep

Credit to Haye but he still has a lot to prove & you are doing his cause no good with threads like this.

IMO Haye backed out because 1 week earlier Valuev and Chagaev was cancelled and Haye and Booth talked to Don King about fighting Valuev. Haye backed out and went after Valuev and haye knew and even admitted "Valuev is an easier fight"

    only 2 facts matter.

    1: he is wba champ
    2. he will fight at least 1 klit and will get about $30 million to do so rather than the nothing he'd have got for fighting vlad and prob $3-5 mill for vitali. i'm sure he can deal with all the **** of haters knowing those 2 facts :deal

BULL****. The contract is what Haye wanted all along. Haye asked to fight Vitali and put it in the deal when talking to Wlad. I saw the contract:deal

    Fight Wlad
    Rematch if Wlad lost (typical)
    Fight Vitali

just like Haye wanted...... Remember this statement?

"British heavyweight boxer David Haye could fight both Klitschko brothers as part of a sensational two-for-one contract being thrashed out by lawyers. Speaking to Setanta Sports News Haye admitted that the two-for-one contract was “being talked about”. He said:

“To be number one in the world, to be the undisputed champion, I feel I’ve got to beat both of them anyway. That’s not a problem. I want to fight both of them. It’s down to the lawyers now.”:deal
