Ugh, this thread has ended up like a General post.

Can we please stop the juvenile name-calling and '*****' comments? I thought Classic was better than that.

If you scored it for Haye, fine. If you scored it for Valuev, fine (and my sympathies).
Let's leave the schoolground 'he started it!' hissy fits for somewhere else please.

I've seen the fight again. I had it 116-113 Haye first time, if anything I feel I could do it 116-112 Haye the second time but I'll stick with my original score for now. If walking forward all the time and missing punches is all you need to be a winner, then David Tua should've never lost a fight.

Yet I showed you that Johnson was in fact rated by the Ring Magazine On Line. Let's not pretend you any writer. You're not. There's something called paragraphs, and if you want to get technical their is a period after Mr, and the r's lowercase. :D

Then again your the fool who said Kevin Johnson did not have fast hands.
This makes me wonder if your lying again to prove a point, or if your so out of it you cannot recognize good hand speed.

I don't know why Ring Mag bother having HW ratings - because everybody knows that David will KO all of them anyway, in his quest to become the best heavyweight of all time.

    Just joking ;)

    This is hilarious,

I'm drinking my coffee right now. I check ESB to see if there are any new posts. I see McVey's name next to this thread, and something told me that you and Mendoza were at it again....:lol::lol:

And yes, his grammar needs a tune-up before pointing fingers.

I think I get along with most everyone else, but he is so pompous, and self regarding.Whenever a poster catches him out in a mistake he muddies the water ,it's as if he cannot stand to admit to being in error.

I just want to post in here that I was dead wrong in my prediction.

Haye fought much more passively than I think he should have. Didn't want to risk a date with Wladimir Klitschko, I guess, but still -- dare to be great, dammit.

I still think he could have gotten him out of there had he forced the issue.

Do you think that Valuev from back in 2005-2006 might have beaten him?

This is a good question. I think in time we will find out Haye was what we thought he was. A blown up crusier weight who can't take a punch. If the fight took place a few years ago in say a smaller ring, Yes, I'd pick Valuev then.

I just can't understand why Valuev fought Haye's fight, and why Haye's game plan consisted of throwing maybe 10 punches a round.

If Valuev is a benchmark of sorts, I think Donald, Chagaev, and Ruiz did better vs a fresher version.

I gave the fight to Valuev. I dont see how Haye could take the championship after a performance like that. I scored it 115-113 Valuev so I guess I dont know **** about boxing or scoring fights.

I been watching fights and fighting fights since before you were a seed. Don't tell me this ****.

Just cause your a limey homer, don't let it get in the way of rational thought. Haye got a favorable decision for an extremely low output fight. I can't feel bad for Valuev, though, because he has had his share of questionable decisions.

I don't care how long you've been watching Boxing, if you scored the fight for Valuev, you don't know much about the sport.

Yeah, you're right. I know nothing of the sport. And that fight was a blow-out performance reminiscent of Ali-Williams.
