Ruiz is shot. How many chances does this guy get?Who the **** has he beaten since loosing to Valuev and Chagaev, NOBODY. I don't understanbd why some idiots get excited about this farce.

Why does not the WBA put Tua or Toney at number one because those would be exciting matchups, god damn it.

Just for the record: Haye is going to win this fight which nobody wants to see. Ruiz fights ugly and judging from his last fights is done.Haye will won in Roy Jones fashion.

Usually I agree with you Blade, but not this time.

Of course nobody wants to see Ruiz. He's boring and ugly to watch, a disgrace for the sport. At the same time I also think that Tua and Toney would be far more exciting and challenging opponents for Haye.

BUT, neither Tua or Toney deserve a title-shot, due to their inactivity. Both men have only boxed two rounds this year. Tua hasn't been boxing at all in 2008, while Toneys showings weren't good (it wasn't always his fault tho -> Rahman II). I know Toney needs a meaningful fight soon, but in my opinion he should show us that he's got something left and line up a couple good wins before he gets a title-shot first. Actually I would have liked to see a Toney-Ruiz rematch in an eliminator for a WBA title-shot.
Ruiz hasn't been the most active fighter either (and thank god for that), and I would rather see someone else get his title-shot, someone more deserving - but at the end of the day he lost two close fights with Valuev in Germany (at least one of which he should've won), lost another close on to Chagaev, and he beat a couple of journeymen and gatekeepers/fringe contenders in between. That's better than many other HWs can claim at this point.
And yeah, I know it's sad.

It is true that Toney and Tua are not deserving of title shots . However, Ruiz is even less deserving. Ruiz lost to the middleweight division in Jones and Toney, he lost to Valuev (twice) and Chagaev and in the meantime he has beaten NOBODY. I mean what the heck will Haye prove by beating Ruiz.

Your suggestion to make a Tua-Ruiz, Toney - Ruiz ot Tua-Toney eliminator is a reasonable idea but those sanctioning bodies don't wotk like that.

the thing is Haye is going KO him the f**k out and that's ruiz gone if he looses there aint no way back. No one wants to see him fight and he doesnt have much to barter with

Perhaps Haye will rid us of him completely.

I think Ruiz must have some video footage of the head of the WBA in bed with a rent boy or something. But to be fair, you mention Toney, and he is probably less deserving of a title shot than Ruiz.

Maybe, but Haye-Toney would generate much more interest. The press conferences would be hillarous. I would like to see Tua-Toney in an eliminator to fight Haye on the Ruiz-Haye undercard but I know it wont happen.

You don't think that Ruiz deserves a title shot but you think Toney does? He's a fat **** that can't be bothered to train, has been busted for steroids twice and hasn't had a meaningfull win at heavyweight since holyfield.

The point is that he twice lost to Valuev-whether their fights were close or not.
Time for new faces to get a shot at Valuev's title, dont you think so?
Whats more Ruiz looked horrible when he struggled with a totally limited journeyman on Valuev's undercard.
Whoever struggles with Adnan Serin surely doesnt deserve another shot at a world title IMO.

Because Haye didn't do anything to earn the title shot. Ruiz was the mandatory, and Ruiz stepped aside only because he was guaranteed to fight the winner.

Whats even more ashame is that ruiz is going to win and become champion again. Ruiz fought much better against the big giant than haye did, all haye did was dance around all night like a scared little kid and he did not deserve a victory. Ruiz will be champion again and hay will get exposed like the ***** that he is. Heavyweights suck who cares.

You must hate Toney if you want him in the ring with Tua.
