Ur insane boy ! ..... Ward cant even be mentioned in the same name as calzaghe . Calzaghes greatest opponent the Viking warrior himself... fraid to say Ward will be staring up at the ceiling looking at stars !
Word! All though I'm not that sure about him winning the whole tourney. I could see Kess getting his revenge in the final, now he knows what he's facing...
And I guess we wont be hearing much about your talent predicting skills again come the 22nd. Better skills than Calzaghe? **** off. Ward is a good fighter with very decent skills but he hasnt got the physical tools necessary to keep Kessler off him. He will get stopped or at the very best take a 12 round hiding if he has a big heart.
I just played both videos at the same time and the similarites between Mundine and Ward are very obvious. They pretty much look the same. It is clear though that Kessler punches better than Ward, Mundine and Miranda. Kessler seems to have better footwork and ring generalship than Ward too.
Replace the name ward with Audley Harrison and you might get an idea where you are going wrong. I'm happy for you that you support the guy but your really arent doing yourself any favours when you try and put down a champion like Calzaghe in a vain effort to big your man up. If Ward does half as well as Joe did in his career he would have overachieved. Fact is he wont.
IF kessler is 100% and in his best shape ever...witch he say he is.. Ward has to be on more than prepared, for a tough fight..I think Kessler will try to fight as hard as possible, since Ward ain“t the strongest of them,IMO. I think Kessler is taking a step up,in this fight.
Only, you forgot one pretty solid factor. KESSLER. Run all they want against Froch and Valuev, two plodding slow fighters, Kessler is a quality, elite boxing phenom with tremendous basics. He will do a number on Ward if all he's intending to do is run.:smoke
Good job:good. Actually forming an argument rather than "Kessler has experience, Ward has none= Kessler by KO". Problem is, people don't realize how much better Ward is than Mundine. First things first though, If Mundine, who does not have good defense, was knocked out cold by light-punching Ottke, and not by Kessler after taking the shots we all saw him take....; How anyone would come to the natural conclusion of Ward, being stopped without further explanation, is beyond me. Now im not going to go through a laundry list of the plain-to-see differences between Ward/Mundine(and if you cant it just further proves how potentially worthless your anaylsis skills are), but ill just put it out that his defense is leaps and bounds above Mundine and his punch technique makes Mundine's look like something out of WWE. Mundine is what Ward might look like had he not had 90 something am fights. If Kessler wins, it'll be because Ward was tentative and selective, to a fault, with his punches. A stoppage here by either fighter is as unlikely as any other Ward match-up in the entire thing. Ward will not commit to his punches against a fighter like Kessler unless he's on his death bed and clearly about to go(which means very few opportunities for Kessler to hit him with anything significant). And if Kessler does find Ward with something other than fluff/envitably corners him, Ward will effectively engage in his spoiler tactics and totally defuse any momentum the Dane had. Just based on styles, i tend to pick the slick counter puncher over the predictable boxer-puncher(whose power is incredibly over-rated here. Incredibly) On that note, Ward will out-box him, use movement to neutralize Kessler's aggression and potshot him to a 8-4 UD
Kessler is a great counterpuncher...Never mind mundine.. You are talking like Mundine is Kesslers toughest opponent.:yep pretty funny.
Ward seems to be a tough nut to crack, he did'nt impress me against Miranda thou! If Kessler put a heavy pressure on him i think he will fold inside 8 rounds!
