    ...not make weight? Such a superior athlete in such great condition, how could he not make the catchweight with all the time he had? If as gifted as he is he thought 2 lbs would affect his abilities and he was willing to pay 600k for it, how can 1lb not affect Cotto to have to come in at 145 when his last fight he came in at 146.7? Think it will be a much bigger factor then Cotto and his camp thought, especially already judging by the pics of Cottos drained face. Roach knows what he is doing and there is nothing wrong with it. If Cotto thinks he can whip Pac at a 145 weigh in, lets see it. If he cant for WHATEVER REASON/EXCUSE, not Pacmans fault.

    I'm not saying it is going to be a big issue with Cotto; but if it was, do you really expect his camp to come out and say he's struggling with the weight in the lead-up to the biggest fight of his life?

    Cotto has a strength and conditioning coach, one who also cooks his dinners. And have done so ever since looking like the walking dead against Torres.
    Mind you, Cotto has looked good all his weigh ins since hiring him.

    And by the way, it's PACQUIAO.
    Who the **** are you to question Cotto's camp, knowing full well he's been doing fine for himself in the past few years?

    Because Floyd wanted every advantage he could take. Having a 5 pound advantage over a smaller opponent increases your chances of winning.

    Absolutely not. But I have much more faith and do believe that since they've done this time and time again, they have a good grasp of how to do things properly. Besides, this OP acts like this is something new but fails to realize that this is how Cotto normally looks before a fight. It's also his second thread on the matter in about an hour...agenda's are quite clear here.
