his hand is still not 100% but he's gonna lose a belt if he doesnt fight. so he's fighting a guy he can beat with one hand pretty much to keep the orgs of his back and to get some rounds in. now, you can debate the wisdom behind that all day long. do you fight now and keep the belt but risk further injury or do you drop the belt, heal up and then go back and get it?? he says he still wants williams.

the decision to fight espino and the decision to not fight williams are two seperate issues...

(wwm, nba, etc) ya'll can rip the decision to sign the williams fight when, as it turns out, he wasnt gonna be able to go all day long. i can't say **** about that. what the hell could i say anyways?? paul has to eat so i don't blame him for not wanting to wait one more day to fight...i like paul and will be pulling for him.

but when your then told that no fight = no belt and that you better get your ass in the ring...you gotta make a decision.

i'm not tryin to convince anyone not to hate kelly or to not be pissed about the situation. but that's about all your gonna hear.

 

Williams/Martinez is a 50/50 fight. I'll be pulling hard for PW, because the one thing I want more than anything else in boxing is to watch KP back Williams up into his own corner, and leave him slumped on the canvass. Martinez is the only man who can stop that from happening.
