Cottos "seal" has most likly been broken.

    Recent boxers with broken "seals" after bad losses when they were undefeated or on a roll. After that, never the same and more susceptible to KO's.

    Taylor
    RJJ
    Lacy
    Hatton
    ODH-(just a habitual loser in most big fights)
    Barrera
    Chavez
    Trinidad
    Vargas
    Mayorga
    Cintron

    Those of note that have not been broken after multiple fights:
    Mosley
    PBF
    BHOP
    Pacman

    Any others? Think Cotto has his seal broken. You never want to leave the bar too early to visit the pisser, unless youre ready to break the seal and let the flood gates open and turn into a return visitor. I think Cotto has opened the flood gates to defeat/submission after that loss.

    you are going to have to add Margarito to that list Mosley beat him from pillar to post. He won't be the same after getting his Chin shattered like that.

    Or, you could say that most of those fighters that were undefeated or "on a roll" just started boxing with the best of the best in the world and started to see a couple losses. It happens when you do that...

    Its those that havent been broken down yet, regardless if they are undefeated or not. PBF has to be classified as that as he has not lost. Any undefeated fighter with as many fights as he has would be considered unbroken.

    Ya but there is a trend there that once those fighters were brutally KO'd or defeated in a tough loss, they were really never the same or competing at as high of a level again in later fights.

    Regardless of how it happened, I think Cotto was broken that night and after watching the Clottey fight, not the same guy that fought Mosley or previous opponents. And this version of Cotto I dont think will be able to hang with Pacman.

    LOL broken seals. Then I guess Marquez ''peeled'' Pac's label which is why the Cotto camp studies that rematch.

    Youre right, I think he "peeled" it, but didnt break it. Cause Pacman has been able to fight on and win more championships. Symantics are funny.

    The same can be said when Mosley fought Mayorga, after the fight everyone was saying that Mosley looked old, slow, erratic etc.

    Then when it was announced that he was going to fight Margarito a lot of people picked Margo to win based on Mosley's performance vs Mayorga. We all know how it ended.
