I agree haye is paper champ! Wlad beat man who beat the man! British can't accept that their hero is nothing more then samuel peter or oleg maskaev until he steps into ring against Klits!
To be fair, lets get Haye a chance. He's only had a few fights at heavyweight. Ever hear a trainer tell his fighter between rounds, "lets win this one and look good in the next one"? That is what may have happened in the Valuev fight. Dave did obviously hurt his hands going upside Nico's formidible head, so he adjusted and still won. Maybe now that he'll be in a better bargaining posistion, we will see him against the K brothers, and we'll see if he is as bad as he says he is, or just another waltzing big mouth.
I'm not blaming Haye and I look forward to see him against Ruiz! I think he will look spectacular! BUT i hate his fans that has put him in gods place! He really won paper championship and WBA HW title has been joke for years since striping Lennox! Haye is Gerry Cooney (hype wise) I think only smarter by first fighting weakar champs!
I dislike Haye for many reasons but IF he fights either Klitschko brother nest year, all is well. So far, he didn't back up his big mouth about bringing excitement, fighting only the best etc. Haye's three HW performances could be easily duplicated ba at least 10 - 15 other HW's today. But maybe it's just a difficult start in the HW division, if he now seriously moves towards a Klitschko fight, I will forget his immature antics.
Chagaev never held the title, following Farmboxer's logic. The title was unjustly stolen from Lennox Lewis in 1999. Lewis is the true WBA champion. Just because he hasn't defended it for 77 months is no reason to strip him.
The only thing Haye "proved" is that he can run faster then Valuev - what a great accomplishment, my Granny could have done the same... Short recapitulation of Hayes accomplishments at Heawyweight so far: 1. KOing a never-heard-of who-the-****-is-that dishwasher Bonin... :think 2. KOing a washed-up old and shot Barret who gets KOd on regular basis for quite some time now... :roll: 3. Running for 12 rounds around an immobile monolite called Valuev, managing to land a few shots each round and retreat as quickly as possible in a most boring fight of the century, at least 10 times boring as the most boring Klitschko fight ever... :-( Well if Haye is now the savior of the Heavyweight division for THAT, what more praise is he going to get if he really happens to beat a decent, halfway prime heavyweight in a decent, halfway exciting fight? To be named a Pope and proclaimed the Saint on the same night I suppose? :rofl

Dear David Haye, Klitschko and impartial fans, here are the facts: - Chagaev never lost the WBA title in the ring before Wlad, Valuev should've never fought for the 2nd (and not interim) version of that title, and after he did, Don King and Sauerland ****ed with Chagaev in Finland not alerting the local commission of Ruslan's stabile Hep B situation, therefore the fight was cancelled giving a very good reason for Don King (who set the whole thing up) to ask the WBA not to sanction Klitschko-Chagaev 3 weeks later. Valuev was a paper titlist, absolutely by definition. BUT! If Don King wasn't so greedy, the situations should've been cleared up pretty simply: why not have Wlad-Chagaev for the "SUPER" title which is common at WBA in unification fights, and let Valuev-Haye fight for the "REGULAR" title, problems solved, everybody's happy. Sartison is fighting for the "REGULAR" WBA title despite Kessler hasn't even unified yet with Froch (and won't be a unification for at least a year if Ward beats Mikkel), so how come Sartison can fight for the "regular" title if there's no "super champion", and not sanction Wlad-Chagaev as the IBF/WBO/WBA Super championship, which is the whole double-title situation was created for? The again, ask Don King.
