But on the hand, it's Pac who will pummel Cotto's body and throw uppercuts on his chin.

Yes, I think the body is a pretty obvious call, really for both fighters, as I recall a body shot during the first round of the Hatton fight cause Manny to raise his 'I'm not actually hurt' hands. Then, I recall a body shot in round 9 of Mosley v Cotto fight that actually looked to really hurt Cotto, sending him backwards for the remainder of the fight, far more than the repeated right hand to the face slaughter that Mosley put up before that.

But, besides the body, I hope and pray that Cotto learns to double-up his jab, for Pacquiao is a southpaw and he is quick - - unlike Judah who tends to stand there, load up a left uppercut, and duck and dive - - Pacquiao is always on his toes. Fortunately for Cotto, Pacquiao almost never moves his head, except when he jumps inside, an area where Cotto should resort to body shots instead of the head anyways.

Personally, I think Cotto should utilize his right lead (I've seen it a few times, specifically against Torres and Malignaggi), as this punch will be completely unexpected by the Pacquiao camp. And Cotto's lurking switching into southpaw walk could potentially make this punch destructive. Still, doubling-up the jab is, from my opinion, key for Cotto's victory, for it will force Pacquiao up against the ropes where Cotto then may use his left to the body.

 

He has to jab and not let the speed and movement intimidate him and make him cautious

He's been practicing his left hooks on the body. He can do it because he faster than Cotto.

 

You dont have to focus on the body to beat Manny Pac, he has been knock out to the body yes but he has also been out worked by Morales, and to be honest he was knocked out by a jab, only to recieve a long long count against Hussein.... he got like 20 seconds to recover in that fight. and was knocked out IMO and it was done with a jab.

There are ways to beat Manny pac, I dont think its just the body, you can rock him up stairs as has been the case with Marquez, with Larios with Morales Manny has been rocked by guys who dont exactly pack the same kind of pop that Cotto does, when Cotto lands we will see if Pac gets rocked or dropped.
