Eat **** mother****er, I'm probably one of the biggest Hearns fans on the boards...

But I think PW will move up in weight better once its all said and done.

And by the way... Everyone had that "shot" Winky to beat PW before the fight happened. He wasn't shot. He just had all the wrong tools for PW.

Clearly Memocan doesn't think Haye should get some credit for beating the giant...
    Whose in yours then?

Everyone..hahaha!!! The only people who did pick Winky also qualified it by saying "if he's got anything left".

Don't ever call yourself one of Hearns biggest fans and then say Williams can move up better in weight. I'd be shocked if you'd seen more than 3 Hearns fights you fool.

Williams is a talent who has yet to prove himself a top fighter (not his fault he's avoided I agree), but for you to have him top 5 show's hoe miopic you are when it come to him.

Giving credit and having him 3rd are different things.

It's funny how people just make assumptions about others in an attempt to make themselves look genius or something...

You have no idea what I've watched...

But more to the point... It is my opinion that when it's all said and done, that PW will travel up in weight more effectively. If you don't like that opinion, so be it.

    ****in *****...

:nono:nono Fool, im MEX/AMERICAN!! So wtf does that have anything to do with this. I recognize talent regardless of race. Do you happen to put people of your race on top just cause you like them better? If so than your list should be thrown out.
Of course I usually root for latino fighters in fights ,but when it comes to rating fighters im fair and I rate on talent or how they would do in HtH matchups, what they have done lately, and their overall resumes.

fair point but he was 7 stone lighter and almost a foot shorter, if he beat a normal sized heavyweight he wouldn't be that high

You have Williams at no.3!!! Even if you're his biggest fan and you're sure he can beat everyone from 147-168, don't you think he should have to prove it 1st before being ranked that high.

He's beaten Margarito (a good win but he is a limited fighter), went 1-1 with Quintana, beat Phillips, and then beat Winky. He's yet to prove himself the man in any division and his high P4P ranking seems to be based on the fact that he can move easily between divisions...which is not what it's about.

I really like Williams (as I do Dawson), I was picking him to beat Pavlik, and I'm confident he could clean out 154. But he has to do much much more than what he's done before he can be ranked at 3. You have him one spot behind Pac for god's sake!!!

I KNOW for certain that you've not seen many of Hearns fights to say Williams can jump weight better. Or how about this one...Williams has a better chin.

Why?? Because Hearns was got KO's in his prime by Hagler and Leonard (was still up against Leonard). Look at the joke of competition Williams has faced in comparison..and then say you're a Hearns fan. Watching legendary nights does not qualify you to talk about Hearns.

I really like Williams...I've rooted for him in every one of his fights so far, but this **** is getting out of hand.

You made some good points, however I think Williams has built a decent resume. For one he beat Margarito the same one who beat pfp entrant Cotto last year, the same Margarito who was on everyones pfp list. Before Mosley beat Margarito,he was dropped from most peoples Pfp list then when he wins hes on top,so why isnt Williams win over Margarito impressive? He didnt stop Margarito like Mosley did but it was impressive none the less, then he beats an underrated Verno Phillips easily. He did lose to Quintana, but he came back with a very impressive 1st round ko. Then he beats Winky who I happen to think can still beat some very good fighters, and Williams dominated him like no one ever has. Believe me this Winky might not be in his prime but he is far from shot.
When it comes to down to it obviously guys like Marquez,Hopkins, and Mosley have better resumes and are ATG,were as Williams is not there yet. I just believe in a fantasy PFP matchup he beats all 3 of these guys, and hes beaten some good fighters already himself. There is a reason Mayweather,Mosley,Cotto,Pavlik and so on (except for Martinez) dont want any part of him.

I accept your point, but I don't think you can base it on fantasy match-ups. Otherwise you would have people like Widdow Maker who would have the Klits 1 & 2....ther has to be some basis behind it.

As I said I have no problem with you thinking so highly of Williams, but I just think you're unjustifiably hiking his ranking based on personal belief...and while much of P4P ranking is subjective, you simply have to factor in resume as well.

In all honesty, I don't think Williams should be ranked higher than 6, and I don't think Dawson should be ranked higher than 8 ( though he doesn't make my top 10). IMO their resumes just don't support it.

P.s I agree that the Margarito win is underrated...especially as (yes it's libel), I think he was loading back then.
