Bute would not a favorite to win the super six, but he would add value to the tournament if he replaced a Jermain Taylor and brought his belt on the line.
It's not gonna happen though.
On a side note we do not have the euro in Denmark we have a weaker and less valuable currency called danish kroner...
btw I agree with the comments about Kessler being overrated on this forum. It's not that I don't see him as a potential super six winner, he's got what it takes, but I don't get the people saying he's going to have easy fights and put him on their p4p top 15, when he haven't had the chance to show his talent after Calzaghe b/c of Palle.
Just to clearify I think Kessler would knockout Bute, but not easy and not without problems.

 

Better than some. Not as good as Kessler IMO.

 

Kesslers purse for the first 3 fights in the super six will be 1.8 mill euro pr. fight.

It would have been good if he had participated in the tournament. Unfortunately, there was not a free room for him. He would have made it unballanced between USA and Europe. It was a business decision to left him out.

 

Yes. The super six is still a fantastic tournament. Bute diserves to be in it but business is business.

 

Who cares if he gets Pavlik after?

I'm happy because there are still a few decent fights out there for Bute even with the Super Six.

Bute has to get through Andrade first tho.

 

Let's not forget that 2 fighter will be out of the super 6 after the first round. They could become available in just over 12 months.

As far as I know every fighters in the Super Six has 3 fights schedule.

After those 3 fights we will know who will make the semi-finales.

 

Just re watch the 360 on how this tournament came along. When they talk about how they locked them self in for 11 hours, there are some clip of papers with the fighters name on. On severals papers you can see the name "Bute".
