Roach: "Pacquiao Is Going To Make Beating Cotto Look Easy"

He said that just cause of his cockiness, he knows winner take all would never be an option. Just 50-50 or nothing. What doesnt make since from the Floyd side if he doesnt do it is, there is no other fight where he would/could make more $$$ even at 50-50 with Pacman if he wins. A Mos vs. Floyd fight at 65-35 for Floyd still wouldnt make him the $$$ that a 50% stake in a Pacman fight would.

 

You've gotta Love Freddie Roach :deal but I reckon Cotto's gonna do him on Saturday

 

You do have to like Roach adding a little gas to the fire. Pac and Cotto are both such pros and so respectful, you like a little trash talk in every fight even though this fight should be excellent on its own without the Roach talk. Since they wont do it, at least Roach will.

 

Thats right... If anything, someone could use those two fights to show how Cotto is gonna win! Not the other way around. :huh

Interesting take on Floyd-Pac by Roach:

"Id love that fight to happen", "This fight has to happen, boxing needs a fight like that".

"He(floyd) cant be asking for 65/35, 60/40, the only way this fight happens in 50/50 or winner takes all".


And people were saying Roach doesnt want the fight?

 

Yeah, of course we all know that's never happening. Would be awesome tho...

Even better would be "winner takes all, but only in a knockout". Now THAT I would pay to see!!

Hes not been talking **** about Cotto at all.

Taking **** about a fighter is what Haye did about Valuev, calling him a hairy smelly beast as such, Floyd calling Gatti a club level fighter. Froch didnt say Cotto was ****, just that Manny is amazing..whats wrong with that?

 

the guy contradcts hmself in every other interview man,first cotto was the toughest opponenet ever then he was gonna get iced in the first round.

 

I was thinking the same thing, Judah was beaten to submission, and Pac was in the war of his life.:huh

 

Confidence is always a big plus and Pac just oozes it. Not sure about Cotto, he looks like a rabbit in headlights...

 

I don't agree with Roach about Nate Campbell being a bum, Barrera using illegal handwraps, Arlovski being good enough to win a world title at Heavyweight, his take on Pacquiao vs Mayweather, and I certainly don't agree with his view on this fight. Roach is wrong, a lot of the time.
